My name is Gareth and I am a Mt. Dew-a-holic.
All through my late teens and early 20's I would consume large quantities of it.
It continued with the Red version, which I could not get enough of.
I was able to break free of it's manical grip, but not fully.
Alas, I am still drinking the Red or Regular one.
I need a hug. :(

I'm going through Mt Dew withdrawal. Code Red, I need my Code Red. But, sadly (or not) I've decided to go on a diet and Mt Dew doesn't exactly fit in with that.....

I think they make a diet version of Code Red don't they?

Throughout most of high school and many years afterwards my breakfast consisted of a 16oz bottle of Dew and a donut. Once my metabolism slowed down, however, I quickly had to rethink that diet.
I still enjoy a MD once in awhile now, though.
Anyone remember Crystal Pepsi? I loved that stuff...

I am not a Mt Dew doer, however my husband seems to have this fixation with this fizzy green drink that does him no good at all, whether or not it is the regular or diet version. Through his college years I believe that his RDA of 'the Dew' was 4 liters. Combine that with 2 packs of ciggaretts per day, and you guys have no idea of what I went through to get him out of what seemed like a state of permanent insomnia.
(Strangley enough, he was able to run and finish a full marathon for every year he attended school....Go figure.)
Ok, hate me if you will, but if I had my way, Pepsi-Co. and their Mt Dew would be blasted off the face of the planet, and every bottle of that nasty code red and nuclear-waste colored green stuff destroyed so that the only thing left indicating that there was a soda bottle in existance was a smudge on the ground, right this very second! *gnashes teeth in frustration.....gnash, gnash, gnash.......*

In imaginary land we are both now responsible for the mutual destruction of both Coke and Pepsi products. Doesn't that automatically put us on an assasination list somewhere?

I got this idea when I drank some MT. Dew while chewing some turkey.
1 turkey, every 30 minutes inject a small amount of Dew (the precise amount in indeterminate, depends on how moist you want your bird) with an injector. This will leave your meal moist with a tangy Dew taste. It works!

Ok I admit it. I'm a Mt. Dew-o-holic. And I know it's bad for me, but I quit for 2 months (all soda). But a started back up. What am I suppose to do there is no rehab facility for Mt. Dew. So I guess I'm stuck.

When I am out of coffee, it's iced tea, unsweetened, no lemon.
When I'm out of both of them, or I need to stay awake REAL GOOD, it's Mountain Dew!

I used to be a Dew-a-holic... that's to be expected when one role plays for multiple nights. I drank and RP'd so much, that I can't stand Dew anymore. I still love RP, though. There's no way I'd get tired of that. </ramble>
I haven't read what everybody else has added, but here I go anyway:
Oreos and Dew. Not mixed together, but just snack on Oreos with Dew.
Vodka and Dew. Very smoooth.
BTW, many crazy-people-diagnosing people say that you're technically insane after not sleeping for a week. *surpresses a tear* Welcome to the club.

are you sure it was the dew, or did this person not brush their teeth??? :) I can't understand how an innocent product like Mountain Dew, could do such a thing.
