When I'm threatened into an unescapable fight, a surge of strength just ripples through me. Suddenly I'm able to move with fluid ease. Even if my glasses are knocked off my body moves with precision as if I had 20/20 vision. Pain doesn't register till hours later. I can almost feel a static charge in the air. I can't even feel my heartbeat. I feel weightless. Sweat just shrieks out of my body and I fight like I'm a beast, not a human.
But that's only when I end up fighting someone against all attempts to just walk away in peace. What's with this though? To me it seems like an adrenaline high. But something's telling me there's more to it. The last time I was in a fight I had never banged up a person so hard before. The guy needed help walking, he couldn't see straight, and the guy was forced to shave his head so he wouldn't have to reveal the nasty scar I left on it. His hands were swollen from where his fists hit my cheekbones. The worst he gave me was a bruise on my cheek. But I know he was aiming for my eye.
Thinking back to it is what brought up this pondering. It's 3:30 in the morning over here so I'm a wee bit tired and out of it so don't mind me really. I'm probably going to wake up to this tomorrow and be like "Um...why did I...post this?" LOL
