I am a member of the ADF, a druid organization, and have been studying the celts/druids informally for some years now. Would you be interested in some of my resources?

I'll state my bias right up front <G> I tend toward what's called celtic reconstructionism, and my references are as likely to be history as anything else!

__The Apple Branch: A path to Celtic Ritual__ by Alexei Kondratiev is considered to be very good. He begins the book with a historical overview of the celts, moves into celtic communities, and then discusses rituals. Some feel he overemphasizes the Irish influence and sources but it's a very good book overall.

Another one I think is very good is __Kindling the Celtic Fire__ by Mara Freeman. This has just been published, and can be found in chain bookstores, I got mine at Borders. I mention this one because a few of you were asking about everyday practices, and that is the focus of this book. Each chapter is devoted to a month, some even have holiday recipes. Her bibliography is very good, as are her listed resources. I think this is one of the best for everyday practice that I've seen in a long time.....

Greetings Maggie!! Please, pull up a chair and be welcomed. I am running about a day late the past week it seems, but hope to have it all caught up today.

Being a solitaire,I (and I'm sure everyone else) would love to pick your brain on the ways of groves and the ADF!

I'll be sending you a message about an Idea thats forming. Watch your mailbox!

Oh Maggie, how I love to get you going. You're a born teacher, and very tactful, too, I see. Keep on documenting! Love, Selene
