Life is difficult for me to read right now. I am facing two opposite courses for my life, and they are quite disparate. This is particularly true of my financial futures. I could use a reading, please, if anyone has the time.

Well, dear sister, that was quite interesting. Let me tell you more.

I am concerned because the scale of everything I'm involved in has radically increased. On the one hand, every Native American of any authority in my entire region (and more around the state) is on a first name basis with me, as well as the white political structure from the US Congressman on down to the local mayor. If any one of the 12 projects on my shoulders comes to fruit I'll be set for life. If only 1/2 of them do, I'll be completely over my head and not able to keep up. And it is possible that none of them will fruit and I will lose my reputation completely. Either way I am headed toward a humbling experience.

I have beat my drum so long and so loud that I made myself a player in several multi-million and even a couple of billion dollar projects- a feat for a frumpy fat woman with panic disorder living in an old doublewide MH in the "Okie-town" section of backwater Oroville. I've gotten to the point that all I really want is a simple little job where I can hide out in a little quiet office with a boss to tell me what to do.

That isn't going to happen. I'll either succeed (a little or a lot) or I'll look like a total ass and be shredded for daring to play with the big kids.

On top of that, I'm so far in debt that I could lose everything I own in a heartbeat - even my crappy little doublewide in Okie-Town. Something has to break VERY soon or even if I can pull off my social miracle, I'll be homeless. And if everything collapes, it is game over anyway. I haven't been so close to the edge since I lived in my little tin shed with the East Indian bedspreads on the walls.

With my Saturn in the 2nd house in Capricorn, I am accustomed to poverty, but this is different. Either way it goes is so big and scary that I've been worrying myself into the return of my ulcer. And the end is coming, I know that. no more than 2 moons to total cycle completion (and severe bumps all the way).

This has been WAY scary !

Things are so wild, generally I try to just "handle" it, but little bits of insight always take the anxiety away.
BTW, your reading really has significance, "rusty" or not ! :-)
Any other insights are always welcome, this situation really has me on edge, but at least I know it will soon be over !

Here is my reading with a 5 card spread on Sunday, using the Robin Wood deck:
You: The Page of Swords. Right now you are boiling with emotions, some good, some bad. You are having trouble grasping a feeling, so you are going to ingnore it and focus on the happy.
Past: 7 of swords: There has been a theft of something fairly expensive, that you cared for and hid away. The thief is afraid of getting caught, and you probably know him or her. Find whats missing, and ask around. THey should crack.
Present: The devil: There is an uncontrolable situation coming up, possibly a confrontaion. Again, it stinks of a theft. Maybe the person will strike again, or you visit.
Future: 10 of pentacles: Relax, you are going to make it through this. You should turn to your family for support. Properity is coming, just around the wheel.
Clarity: Death: This is what binds it all together. This again points towards loss, which stinks of theif. There is deffinatly someone stealing from you, or maybe even someone using bad mojo. Look for tangle foots or a Witches ladder. If you do discover this, take cover, because something life altering is coming to happen.

When I approach your reading "non-literally" I find it is startling in accuracy. Yes, I have been robbed, but not in the literal sense. I keep uncovering dirty little secrets about my hometown and how its prosperity was robbed. It seems my fate and its are tied, so the personal identification you made with theft toward me personally is appropriate. And again, I (and those of my family and neighbors with whom I identify) have been robbed of even a basic living, and the prosperity we have worked for.
I have been personally, individually attacked as well. Even my home lost $5000 in value after 5 years and $10,000 in improvements, while a small group benefits over us all. It is coming to an end, though. Thank you for the reading, it gives me the fortitude to continue the fight.
You are right, I have been conflicted, but ultimately I've always chosen to be an optimist. Even an optimist neds a little support sometimes, though.

My readings usually are, when sought past all the stuff i throw in. I give examples, and go indepth, and thats not always best. I get the High Priestess, The Magician, and the 4 of wands together, assume it has to do with a handfasting or a ritual, go in depth about that, and then i am told it means the sex the person had last night. ;). I guess i am just over-elaborate.

Celtic Cross:

Significator: Justice – You are one of balance even if it is not known to you. Strength is perceived here. You will prevail not matter the outcome.

Matter at hand – 7 of cups – The beast is on the edge. No threat of loosing the battle within but, there is turmoil within and this is very confusing.

Blocker – 10 of Cups (2 cups in a row) – There lies a fork in the waters ahead. A fortress stands in the middle. You will find rough water in either choice. But, this blocker has something you need to accomplish your plight. This could be an opportunity to take it.

Potential outcome – The Lovers - I see you walking with the beast, but be careful. This is a precarious situation that requires caution. The next card clarifies this (5 of Cups) that shows that you may be on the wrongs side of every door. Your goal is within reach if you can out-wit the door.

Influence of resent past – The Empress – Of no threat now. Perhaps a family member has intimidated you to a point where you thought to quit. This force is on the wane but, do not push it aside just yet. You may need the energy later. Watch for the colors purple and/or green.

Coming into play – 2 of spears – cool! Someone you know, and trust will advise you. This is good. Look for the color Red.

Last four cards – 6 of Shields, 3 of Swords, Death and The Sun. – Very interesting. I see that you look towards you friends and family for advise; though you have difficulties in trusting it. There may be a last minute change in either your project or your life that will carry a very heavy impact on you. Change may need to be swift and precise – and with little or no thought. However, you will be prevalent in the end; no matter the outcome.

I can't even begin to express the depth you caught on this reading. It tied all three together into a neat little package. Each one expressed a side to the issue, yours illuminated the correlations.

The "beast" walking with me (Lovers) was the poison carried by my husband daily from a hidden curse he had with him since his previous marriage. We've found it and eliminated the physical representation of it, but the knowledge of it's source broke his heart. :( It came through to us through the only weakness he possessed, his love of his stepson by a previous marriage. This curse has had us constantly on the offbeat step of success. (If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all ?) It evaporates and goes the other way at each turn. I believe we have outwitted the door at last. Things have taken a dramatic turn.

The Empress is his mother. She actively worked to wear me down. It isn't that she's a bad person, just intensely jealous of her children's success going beyond her own. She's dying now, slowly, from emphasyma and complications, and has softened to the point that they are no longer in constant competition. She's OK with his success now. :( That means she is not difficult for me anymore either.

The Death card is my old friend. We understand each other, and I am and have always been willing to do what it takes to allow for the start of a new life. And a new life is what I need right now.

I am doing one card readings trying to play catch up here. :D So, the card I drew for you.....is ......3 of wands.

You are seaching for ways to make things better. You are looking for ways to change and grow.

This card also speak of not getting caught up in the moment, but looking at the big picture....how it will all come together. You are planning and exploring what options are open to you.
