ah yes kissing, so me and a guy friend were talking about this yesterday, i asked him if he though kissing was overrated or underrated, he siad he thought it was "pointless" unless during or b4 sex :eek:
do all guys feel like this?
i am the opposite, i LOVE kissing, i find it a great way to learn about someone and connect with them on a different level, when i find someone who is a great kisser i find myself getting lost in that moment...but anyway, my point of this thread was to find out what you all think.

I love kissing! To me, kissing is not the icing on the cake, it's the eggs that hold the cake batter together. :) Meaning, kissing is a pleasurable way to connect with someone intimately that's fairly easy to accomplish. It should be part of your everyday life. I kiss my husband (and he kisses me back) as much as possible.
There's just something very magical about warm lips, soft skin, and being able to be that close to someone you care about. Kissing makes me happy! :)

underrated for sure, it seems like not enough people appreciate the value and meaning of a good kiss. The first time I kissed my current girlfriend, it seemed like time stood still and waited on us to finish, and if you ever come across a better feeling than that, let me know.

I think that kissing shows how much you love someone other than just words... or at least that is how I interpret it it. It takes love to be able to kiss someone, or at least I hope that you don't go around kissing anyone and everyone.... Kissing should not be used just during or before sex.... as a sexual turn on that is misconstuing the point of it...

You know what's funny? I didn't automatically think sexual kissing thoughts when I first read this. I thought--mmm...yes! Kissing. I think that people do not put the proper thought into a kiss ... though thought may be too strong a word ... as a Kiss is better felt then thought about ... there is something to kissing that resists the ability to describe ... but i will step up to the challenge and try to explain my views on a kiss ...

i think the power of a kiss is verily underated ... by some at least ... i do not want to lump all into that group ... obviously according to other posts in this thread a few of yall feel me on this ... besides the just physiological nexus of senses our mouths represent ((50% of smell is taste, taste of course and touch with lips and tongue)) ... but a kiss is more than just mouth action ... there are the hands ... for most, do they not almost seem autonomous of what is going on at the mouth? ... they wander and touch and caress ... for me it is usually with the most tenderness that my hands touch with ... and the lips ... firm and soft ... slippery wet and rough at times ... ::sighs:: ... and for not knowing the age of those here i will not go too much detail in the part that the tongue plays for me ... except to mirror what may/or may not happen later in a more physical sense ...

has anyone here ever kissed while on a porch swing or on seperate swings at a park ... the constant shifting of pressure ... from light to hard ... the contact and then not of the lips .. .the compensation of the bodies as they deal with slight rocking motions of the swing ... i have felt as if losing something in such a kiss ... but that was long ago ... what am i trying to say here ... ya know ... i am sure there was a point here i was trying to make ... i lost it somewhere ... but i can say that i am all for kissing ... i do not do it well ... Oh, I found it on mapquest. It says approximately: 1780 miles (2848 Kms) and 28.5 hours from Calgary to Tulsa. So probably a 3 to 4 day drive, or a 4 hour flight.

So, I stand corrected, that is relatively central - farther than Winnipeg, but almost exactly as far as Toronto from me.
