As many of you are well aware, the MW Help a Member (HAM) program was activiated to help my 12-year-old neighbor, Sydney, who is also a best friend to my daughter, Mercedes. Sydney lost her mother and 3 brothers in a devastating house fire on New Years Eve.

The MW HAM program went to work to bring this little girl some joy in light of this sorrowful and life-changing event. Sydney received a Sony Playstation 2 and games from the MW Family thanks to all of your efforts.

Sydney would like to extend her gratitude and thank each and every one of you for this gift as well as the kind and comforting words that were sent to her.

A special thanks to all to Mol and Semele for activating the HAM and for running this comm. It truely is a great place to be. May love and light always surround you, may your blessings be too numerous to keep count. :hugz:

A special thank you to WitchyChick for being there for me, for the support and kindness you have shown and for helping me so much with communication issues. May you always have the love and support in your life that you have shown me. May you always be blessed. :hugz:

And mostly I would like to thank you all, each and every one of you, for listening to me, for being there for me, my daughter and for Sydney through your posts, donations, gifts and thoughtful support as well as getting the HAM activated so that this could happen. You are all heroes. You have shown love and beauty that is still here in this world that shines brightly beyond the pain and sorrow we have experienced due this event. You have been a great part in helping to us to heal; Sydney and her surviving family, me, my daughter and the children in this community that will play on this Playstation at Sydney's when they visit in the future, sharing time together and bonding. :).

Your words have been kind. Your hearts were open, and you offered your comfort. For this, I will be ever deeply greatful.

Oh, I didn't see this until now. Snowy, I'm so glad we could all help you help Sydney!

That sweet girl undoubtedly has some hard times ahead, but maybe this will help her take her mind off of the troubles. And I know you and Mercedes will be there for her, too. I'm so proud of what you're doing to help make her life brighter. We're still right with you, sweetie!

Hon, you deserve the thanks more than anyone here. Your heart is large and your compassion reaches far beyond mine. You have done much for Sydney as well as many here at MW....but most of all you have just been your wonderful self.

I have not forgotten about you and she.....and I can not wait to make my drive to drop off the stuff ;)....weather permitting.

Keep in touch and let me know before I make the drive if there is anything else on Sydney's wish list that I could perhaps get :)

Great Job with the members program. And especially good work stepping into that girls life to try and make a difference Snowy Moon! I think its inspiring to us all, I won't hesitate to make a donation to HAM for the next time! Great to see it bringing so much good-cheer. Helping others is really what life is all about, and this proves it to me. This could be contagious! :halohead:
