MM sharline, and welcome to MysticWicks(MW)!

I'm sorry to hear your family has not responded well. Unfortunately if they walk away you can't really explain the truth about your religion, can you? Maybe some will need time before they are willing to hear you. It is saddening though and unfortunate *hug*

Aw sharline {{hug}} Hopefully it'll get better with time. I agree with WillowRaven--seems all you can do is ride it out. It sucks, but one day things'll be better.

I'm sorry to hear that. But give it some time and if they care about y ou enough they will see that they are being stupid and they need to accept you for who you are.

A few years ago I told a good friend that I was a witch. He (being Christian) freaked on me. We stopped talking completely because he wanted nothing to do with a witch. But eventually (a few months later) he apolized and we're still as close as we were
Good luck and stick in there. I know its a hard thing to go through.

Blessings

My best friend is a pagan, and she is dating a Jehova's Witness. He knows that she is a pagan, and has no problem with it, and she has no problem with him being a Christian. Just goes to show you that if you really love someone, and if they love you, they will stay by your side no matter what... I wish you well, and if you need someone to talk to, I am here. I'll be your friend! :)

MM Sharline,

Ask yourself why you told them in the first place. Is it because you wanted to be truthful with them? Did you REALLY expect them to embrace the idea? Be honest with yourself........ Don't expect them to change their beliefs and mores instantly. Allow them to undersatnd the blessings that your path has presented you... Then they cannot deny that you are you!
