If Gays can do this, how about Pagans? ;)
P.S. I'll check to make sure I have the right link this time.

Do you have to be a farmer to work there?

There's a place called Circle Sanctuary or something that is probably a pagan farm. There's probably quite a few.

You know, despite the often severe reactions recieved due to homosexuality or paganism I really scoff at these sorts of ideas.
Not only is it isolating the people, but it is unifying them while alienating the rest of the world in which they are supposedly trying to obtain tolerance and acceptance from.
Being gay myself I quite literally did not go one week without hearing some other fruit inform me of how I should be doing more things with my 'people'. It's one thing to find comfort in those who understand your pain, but it's an entirely different thing to cause further social anxiety due to voluntary isolation. Many gay people absolutely refuse to socialize with anyone but other homosexuals, and frankly, I look at those individuals and think that if that's how you wish to live, fine, but do not come whining to me when you recieve horrible backlashes from a lack of tolerance or acceptance. You isolated yourself and alienated the rest of the world.
And a farm? Ew. All those bloody chickens and cows. Sounds awful.

You said it Raven. I am straight and I have friends who are gay and I have heard it asked why they would hang out with me. Maybe because I'm a nice person who doesn't give a whit about labels. When people label and isolate themselves I think it does more harm than good. People should like who they like and do what they want because they like it/them not because of some label.

The problem also lies with a common taboo, as well. Unless you actively indulge in hate towards homosexuals, african americans, pagans, etc., and are not one of them, few are too afraid to speak out the logical solution fearing they themselves may be seen as racists, homophobes or what have you.
Most heterosexual and bisexual people tend to agree with me, yet you won't hear them speaking this aloud, and quite a few have essentially confessed a fear as being seen as such. Most homosexual people, however, particularlly men, give me nothing but scorn over this, claiming me a self-hating gay man, which I find even more hysterical than the previous hystericalness.
(Hystericalness isn't even a word.... ha!)

I hear ya!
Let's see...I've been chastised by other gay people because I didn't have a larger list of gay "associates" rather than straight (telling me that I had no right to support straight peoples' businesses because they were our 'persecutors') I've been told by other Pagans that I'm not a "true Witch" (even though I was born into a family with a centuries-long Pagan pedigree (is that word 'pedigree' even applicable for human consumption?)) simply because I failed to replace the word "Christ" in "Christian" for the very vulgar "x-" in my writing.
Sad, but true -- sometimes true savagery lies within our own ranks (whatever "group" life has decided to plant us -- seeing as we're living in a day and age where everyone is in some "group" or "classification") and it seems that fuses are more and more available in the shorter model.

There are so many heterosexual farms, so why not a homosexual one? :)

Because it would be better in the name of promoting tolerance that there were more 'farms' that included both hetereosexual people and homosexual people.

Because most heterosexual farms weren't created for the heterosexualness of their inhabitants. They were created to farm food. It's a different cause.
