I have seen in pyramid a scrying mirror with book it cost I belive like in the $50.00 ish dollar area. To expensive for me. And I read also that if you can make your own spitutal things it will bring you closer to them.
Question... I have a glass that is real thin and I was thinking about getting some black spray paint and painting it. Is this a good idea or bad? If its a good idea what kind of paint would I need to get to make it work so I can scry?
thank you in advance for your help so much.
Brightest Blessings,
Solitaire.

The book "Scottish Witchcraft" by Raymond Buckland has a whole section on making such a craft, including types of paint. :)

do a search in the Divination Forum... there's a thread there call something like "Quick, Cheap, & Easy: Recipe for a Scrying Mirror"... anyway, do a search for scrying+mirror, it'll pull it up...

Hmm, well, the cheap way is go find a secluded, dark puddle. I've never tried scrying, mostly because I don't really have any divination ability beyond tarot.
In the woods behind my house trees get knocked down, and they leave holes in the ground. The holes fill up with water, and after a while the water turns black. If I were going to scry, thats where I would do it.
Also, would tinted car windows work?

i don't know about spraypaint on glass, but soot from a candle would do it. but so far i like the puddle idea best.

black acrylic on the back of a mirror works wonders.... (spray or i have even used paint and brush) make sure the layer is thick.. hold it up to light before it dries to make sure that no light peers through. presto. put it in a frame to save the paint from chipping. :) blessings !
