Blodeuwedd or Dechtire?

Okay, I've been doing some research, and it seems there are two possible consorts of Lugh ... one being Blodeuwedd who was created out of 9 flowers, for Lugh by his uncle, because he couldn't have a wife, and the other being Dechtire who Lugh, who fathered her son Setana or later, as he was known, CuChulain. So what I'm asking is, which would be correct. Or are both correct? I'm not sure which to pair Lugh up with, as I'd like to have a pair for Lughnassadh and as Lugh is associated with Lughnassadh it made sense to look for a consort, only now I'm confuses as to which one to call upon tomorrow night, with Lugh ...

Bloudwedd was created for Llew Law Gyfees who is the Irish equivelent of Lugh, but I don't really think they were the same god. Additionally I've never come across any info thaat connects Llew Law Gyfess with Lughnasadh, unless you are conflating the two gods and making them one and the same. Deichtra wasn't really his consort as she had a human husband. So I personally would not use either of them. Like I mentioned in the other string, Lughnasadh was first celebrated in honor of Tailtu, his foster mother. It's worth mentioning that she was in her own right the last queen of the Fir Bolg and local earth goddess.

There are actually some theories floating around that Lugh and Tailtu were originally a king and consort, but there are no stories left to tell us that for certain. In the midieval tale, "Baile in Scáil" Ligh appears as the husband of the Sovereignty goddess when she initiates the future king.

agreed; Lugh and Lleu are often confused because of the similarity of their names, but I think of them as seperate 'young gods.' I don't know much about Dechtire, but Blodeuwedd is the archetypal 'white shadow' flower goddess, like Gwenhwyfar, Blathnat and Creiddylad. She also has links to Lilith and Eve, probably her rebellious streak!
