Depression is a terrible thing coupled with physical problems it can be deadly. I have been a mess and appreciate all of your kindness and good wishs very much. As of today I have begun to take St. Johns Wort. A natural anti-depressant. I am hoping in a few days to begin to feel brighter and less messed up. I hope to begin to get my fight back. I have always been a fighter and overcome alot in my life. Now is not the time to give up. So please bear with me as I work my way out of a dark place. I will try to come online more and be with my friends here and in other spaces. Again thankyou for caring and loving. This is a remarkable place. My love to you all.

Do what you deem necessary to heal. I have been through this, and have helped my sister overcome it also. If you need someone to talk to email or PM me. :hugz: You will continue to be in my thoughts...

I can understand what you've been through..
That being so because I'm currently going through tough times myself..
But, as you mentioned, we have to go on.
I'm glad you can be strong!
I guess a good thing to do in a depressing situation is just to well..laugh. at the fact that you're getting so depressed..(Does this help in any way..?)

Also, you may want to try getting out the house a little. I know when your depressed, you just don't want to, you don't see any point and just want to be miserable indoors!
But, if you try and make the effort, i bet you'll feel better, even if it's just a little bit.

Either go for a walk alone (although i recommend going with a bunch of close people) ... go to a sight seeing thing, where you can relax, and try to laugh a little!! Believe me, it'll make you feel better!

Remember, it can take a little bit for it to start making a noticible difference. It could take two weeks or so.

You sound like a very strong person, and you have a lot of people here behind you! Not only will you get through this, I'm sure you'll carry many insights back with you into the light. Everytime I struggle back up out of depression it reminds me how strong I really am. :heartthro

(((Dragon))) I fought the battle with depression several years ago. The Dr. had me on 27 pills a day by the time I realized I wasn't just depressed, I was not happy in my life and myself. That's when I really discovered my spirituality and threw away the pills. I pulled myself together and decided who I was going to be! It took time, patience and lots of hard work to find myself and allow me to love who I am. I did use St. John's wort and now can't go out in the sun without breaking out in hives, so be careful, it does have it's side effects. The real trick is to find yourself and make your life happy. We all love you here, try to find that love inside of you as well!!!

Thanks everyone. I am here right now answering posts that make me laugh to start with. Yes the sun has to be avoided if taking SJW, but I generally stay out of the sun to protect my skin so I guess I will be ok. Actually I feel a bit brighter today. I am pushing myself to feel better.

I'm going through exactly what you're going through right now.

I may not be the best person to talk to if you want to be cheered up, but I'll certainly listen and understand if you need to rant.

Stay positive and keep fighting.
