house sizes vary depending on where you were born. If you were born at one of the poles, some houses would be tiny little slivers and some other houses would be huge encompasing 3 or 4 or more signs.
Some people only have one sign per house, but it is rare that a house begins exactly at the cusp of a sign. The houses usually begins somewhere in between the sign cusps and if a house combines 1 or more signs, one must combine the flavors of the signs along with the house they are found in.
Your first house is colored with Libra (diplomatic,artistic) and Scorpio (intense, prenetrating), although it is the sing on the cusp of the house that determines the way you approach the concerns of that house.
