wishlist for LadyPhoenix
Crystals I'm looking for: large quartz (any color), tourmaline, moonstones, fluorite - any kinds of geodes.
Form: Any - I'm not very picky, though I would love for the quartz to be just a crystal - doesn't have to be tumbled or anything.

Crystals i prefer : Carnelian, Green Aventurine, Malachite, Bloodstone, Amazonite, Emerald, Sodalite.
Ones i'd really appreciate - Aquamarine, Iolite, Sugilite, Moonstone.
What form i'd like them in (pendant, polished, ring, tumblestone etc) : I'm not very fussy, although a ring (size M, N or O - US size 6-7) or geode would be nice. I'm not a big fan of the tumblestones unless very unusual, wand or pendulum.

Gee-- what would I prefer? Anything really, I'm just excited about getting something. (Thinking harder) I've got a real dearth of water stones, so stuff like jade, sodalite, sugalite, aquamarine, beryl, celestite, and chrysocolla would be very welcome. I've always loved carnelian and amber and could use some chrysoprase, citrines, or a nice piece of rhodonite. The family's birthstones are sapphire (me-- yeah right) garnet (husband), and amethyst (baby) so any of those would be very welcome. I'm also looking for a larger piece of agate for a protective spell for the baby-- I've got some chips, but nothing's really resonating.
These are just suggestions, I'm really not picky.
As for form, I wear a large ring size and rarely wear rings, so I'm not really interested in them. Polished or tumbled are fine, but I actually prefer stones to be a little rough.
I'm willing to ship overseas, but am on a tight budget, so I'll be able to spend more on my swap stone if I can spend less on postage.

ME I want to play!
I'm looking for mostly red and black stones right now, although I love anything. Sunstone, garnet, fire opal (don't I wish!), smoky quartz, obsidian, onyx, labradorite, anything else you can think of. A nice piece of sunstone or smoky quartz is my first choice.
I'd be particularly interested in a pendant, second choice cut/carved/polished stones. I have large fingers, so fitting a ring would be difficult.
I can't afford overseas shipping and get something really nice too, so I'd prefer to buy something really keen for a U.S. member.
Rough and/or polished stones from me WILL be charged a little bit, as everything that comes from the local store has a lovely little buzz about them. It's an energy I love, but be forewarned, if you need totally blank crystals I can't provide that...

Crystals i prefer : quartz, amethyst, moonstone, rose quartz, lapis lazuli, tourmaline, flourite, amber, labradorite (okay, pretty much anything)
What form i'd like them in (pendant, polished, ring, tumblestone etc) : goede, wand, pendant or pin, cut or polished - or something unique that you think I'll just love! :)
Are you willing to ship overseas : prefer not to but willing if you need someone

What form i'd like them in (pendant, polished, ring, tumblestone etc) : I'd really like a small pendant that I could wear on a silver chain that I have, but loose untumbled stones would be nice too!

Yes, as long as it is not outrageously expensive!!

I'd prefer loose stones, not jewelry. Polished or raw. Jade,
hematite, carnelian, or amethyst would all be good. Nothing bigger than the
size of an infant's fist, though - I have no place to put huge crystals.

FYI - for the Valentine swap - those in Europe were paired with the same sending/receiving person because there were only 4 of you, and two of you live in the same house! ;) Everyone else had random swap partners.
So, your above idea works in theory...unless someone doesn't want to ship internationally. You might just need to "stack" the names accordingly. :)

Aahh, well see i thought that, but then i recieved my swap from Morr from Israel, so i thought maybe everyone had the same partner, but obviously that was becaue of her location :)
At the moment everything is running smoothly, and everyone on my list (touch wood) right now is able to be paired up with someone different.

i think it'll be easier to list what i have already....i'm kinda a stone junkie :)
what i have:
Jaspers (leopard, blue, cappachino, imperial)
snowflake obsidian
amethyst
emerald
florite
hemitite
malachite
apache tear
garnet
quartz
moonstone
mugglestone
charolite
calcite
citrine (i think)
carnelian
and a couple others i can't identify
I like just about anything! i would prefer something different than i already have but if something i already have jumps out at you then by all means!
pendants are good, tumbled or raw is fine (most of mine are tumbled except the calcite.) but i do carry the loose stones in my pockets so be mindful of poking :)
shipping? i can ship over seas, actually the thought of getting something from another country actually interests me quite a bit....maybe something native to the area?
i'm not real interested in carved beads tho :)

Well I've bought something for my buddy, and I'm hoping she'll like it, I might just have a bit of a look around to see if there's anything else, that won't totally go over budget before I sent it out. So keeping that in mind, I should have it all packaged up by this Friday 5th March, and being that my buddy's in Aus it should arrive no later than Wednesday 10th March. That's to say, if I get it sent of by Friday.

*grins* Got my order in the mail today to ship off to **********! :D I snagged a few other extras from my present box (I love having one of those!) and have to run to WalMart for some packing stuff. Hopefully I'll get it in the mail today!

*laughs* Just a box with a bunch of little things that I've either picked up at various places or gotten as freebies. :D I hate to throw them away so if I can't find someone to give them to right away I'll hold onto them and toss them in with shipments (since I live away from my family) or as gifts for housewarmings that kind of thing. It keeps you from having to scamper for a little gift when you need/want to give one to someone!
I've shipped my box off! It should be there in a week at most!

I'm kind of computer illiterate. My beloved husband (the computer geek who is currently forcing me to use linux) promises to get around to it one of these days. . .

I dunno how to link you to it, but there's plenty of pics and offers for avatars etc around

*giggles* I see it more as being prepared. Don't really use it for *big* gifts, like birthdays or weddings. But I have been known (when I have money) to see something for someone and I'll just go ahead and buy it and hold onto it until it's time for their birthday or whatever. :D
There is absolutely nothing wrong with regifting, so long as you make sure you don't give it back to the person who gave it to you, or to someone they know well where they may end up seeing it!

Brilliant idea! I often see things that i fall in love with but end up not using it, or it just being put somewhere! Think i may have to steal your idea now :)
