FIRST, get yourself a Tarot deck if you don't already have one. (Rider Waite or similar decks are good for beginners!)

Then, at the top of this forum, there is an "Announcement" about the Course and tells you in which thread you can find our lessons. If some of it is too hard to follow, go to www.learntarot.com The owner of that site is also teaching a class at the Barnes and Noble Univerisity which you can register for through her website. :D

Welcome aboard, feel free to ask any questions you like! We'll answer them as soon as we can! :D

Hard not really just takes time and your willingness to learn! How open you are to the cards i think. But lots of fun too!! You'll be amazed at how real they really are.
Enjoy!

Anything you don't know anything about can be 'hard'. This can be anything from flying the space shuttle to programming youur VCR! The problem is, people are always looking for the fastest, easiest way to get to the end...and that's not what tarot is all about. I have been studying tarot for over 10 years, and many other readers have been doing it for twice that!

The only thing I can tell you is to try, try, try, and read, read, read. Do not set high expectations or impossible goals for yourself ( I just bought a deck yesterday and tomorrow I want a show like Miss Cleo). Tarot comes easily to some, less easily to others ( such as myself- I call myself a reader and make no claims to be psychic), BUT IT IS DOABLE! You have to be willing to make the investment of your time.

Oooooo... You did not mention Miss Cleo! She's no tarot reader! But I could think of some other things to classify her as one would be a fraud!!!

She is? Cite your sourse. I like the Robin Wood, its very pretty, and aits better then the rider waite i think. Its less like a copy of all the other decks out there.
