I've never tried these but found them in my collection of folk remedies & folklore. If they work, let me know. :)

Apply warm castor oil to a bandage & apply to the wart. Replace 3 times daily. It suppose to take less than a week.

Apply the juice of a cashew nut directly over the wart several times a day.

Apply the milk from a dandelion stem several times daily.

And last but not least...

20 drops of grapeseed oil
2 drops of tea tree essential oil
1 drop of basil essential oil

Mix together & apply with a clean Q-tip several times a day.

i could "pow-wow" them for you.
actually, cut a small new potato in half, have a sister rub the warts with the halves and then take them away to be buried in the ground. when the potato decays your warts will disappear. i know it sounds strange but it works. good luck.

Wildchild, can I substitute anything for the basil essential oil in this recipe?

Do these work for any kind of wart? I've been getting planter's warts on and off since I was younger, and am tired of using the things doctors tell me to use, since they don't work that well on mine. :dis:

I'll check on this one. Basil & tea tree have strong antiviral properties. And warts are caused by a virus. I would think that any essential oils that have strong antiviral properties would work the same. Perhaps trying it without the basil but just use the tea tree. Any other suggestions, anyone?

I've heard a slice of garlic on the wart under a bandaid works.
