There's a pretty extensive thread on the ethics of love spells in this forum. I highly recommend you read through it before you proceed with any love spells.

That said, are you wanting a spell to use yourself, or you asking someone else to do a casting for you?

well, since im not truly wiccan i dont know that i could cast my own love spell. i do however believe in the power of wiccan.
heres the deal. my boyfriend and i have been together for 17 years and it just seems to me we could use a love boost. if i can do this myself i will. i just wouldnt begin to know where to start.

My suggestion would be to try releasing any negative energy surrounding you and your boyfriend. This can easily be done through meditation on a waning moon. I don't really think you need a "love" spell.

And yes, you can do it on your own.

You might also want to remove obstacles in the way of your communicating with and understanding him, best done again on the waning moon.

I suggest
a) you look into the ethics of love spells and how to perform magick and first decide exactly what you want to do
b) you look into correspondences of colour, candles, moon phase, smells, shapes, and anything else you can think of that are related to your goal
c) then you get these things together at a time you feel is right and do a spell

If you don't mind me jumping in here... My advise is to get books and research spell craft. It is not something to enter into lightly. Done wrong it can cause adverse effects.

If you want a boost, the best magic is intimacy and sex! :)

Try bubble baths, candle light, massage, wine (if you drink) and a lovely dinner! This always brought me more "boost" than any spell! Do something totally different...
