Saturday I am performing my first public ritual...a marriage. [have I told ya'll I'm legally ordained:confused::D] I am to marry a leasing agent in our office and her boyfriend. It is to be a civil ceremony in the open woods of washington park in Portland.
Now I'm starting to get a little nervous. I have no qualms over the legality of it. I'm just nervous so, if yall could say a small prayer for this couple and the wedding to be smooth and without incidence, I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks!
Peace,
Twig

keep it simple and dignified and you'll do well twig, as did the j.p. that did the marriage for my daughter and her husband.

LOL!!! I couldn't help but laugh when I read this. I've got a huge family and have been to ALOT of weddings and there's only one thing that I've found to hold true to every single one of them. SOMETHING always goes wrong! I wish you all the luck in the world but seriously... lol Has anyone ever been to a wedding that didn't have some sort of 'incident'??? lol That's a pretty tall order there Twig. :) :) ;)

Twig, you'll be fine, they're priviliged to have someone like you marrying them. They already shown that they have utmost faith in you, otherwise they wouldn't have asked you.
Will be thinking of you Saturday, as will everyone else here, and you'll be in the woods, so with all that positive energy coming your way you can't go wrong, enjoy it. xx

You will do great Twig !! As a Wedding and Event planner I can tell you not all weddings have problems I have had a few that went as planned weather and all!! Some needed extra prep for due to certain guests being forceful with opinions but nothing a small temporary binding did not handle!! HEE HEE ! (after all I gave my word I would run interferance for the happy couple!)
One hint if you prewrite the ceremony and do it on computor in a framable manor you will be able to read from it then present it to the couple as a momento and it takes the fear out of it and starts a new gimic to your ceremonies! ( Just a thought)
Gunner Congrats on your Daughters Wedding!!
