I don't like it much either...just have to have a couple of cups in the morn, for "wakeup" purposes.
Anyway,Polaris..I live in Kent..not far from Canterbury, and am lucky to witness the major archaeological dig that will be in progress for the next three years.

Obviously you have tried the wrong coffee...
...a really good coffee can be as sweet and tasteful as you would like it to be.
Right now I am drinking a finely brewed cup of columbian blend mixed with Swiss Chocolate creamer. Reminds me of a wonderful cup I once enjoyed in Germany with my girlfriend (of that time)... I can still smell the intoxicating aroma of the bakery in which we sat that spring morning.
As you can see, we take our coffee very seriously.

Hi all!
I apologize if I offended.People are always making me try the newest super duper blends, telling me I'll like this one.But if I can taste or smell coffee at all,I don't like it.I've yet to find a coffee that doesn't taste or smell like coffee. The taste of it on the back of my tongue just kinda grosses me out.Sometimes I'll hold a cup if I'm really cold.I do love hot chocolate though.(:
And Hi Penny! The archeological dig sounds really interesting.Keep us informed.

You didn't offend anyone, we are just having fun.
If people have to "make" you try it, you are better off without it.
Where I grew up, in the Pacific Northwest (USA) coffee is like water. There are so many flavors and variations of coffee, not just beans or brews, but flavors.
I have had coffee which tasted exactly like fresh apple pie... its all in the maker, or barista (espresso bartender) if you are into espresso, latte, and cappuccino like me :D.

Hello everyone. 'Nother new person popping in to greet yas. And as for coffee... I think I worked in a Robert Harris Cafe for far too long. The only coffee I drink now is very very weak stuff. Mind you, I have issues with tea too.
I love the Mystic Wicks site, btw, and this board looks like a whole lotta fun.
Blessings,
Mellee

I have to say my husband and I are on the non-coffee drinking side. I had it once didn't like it. However coffee icecream is a sure indecator that I've gotten pregnant yet again. If the Goddess is mersifull I won't want any coffee icecream for a long while. We do our share but sometimes it just isn't enough! lol By the way I love this site! The people are warm and friendly the talk is intelligent and no one reminds me to use the spell check. lol HI!!!
