the fact that I'm sitting here in Israel 100000000000000000000 miles away from California, and I'm watching The Oscars LIVE!
I know theres a satilite up there thats hooking up all of the signals and sending em to diff places all over the earth... but still... its amazing... Thanks to today's technology, you can see exactly whats happening on the other end of the world all in the same time (ok, with an understandable 3-5 minute delay)...
Its like trying to understand how 1000000000 tons of metal & glass in the form of an airplane can fly so high in the sky for so long and not crash (yea yea i know laws of physics and all that mumbo jumbo...)...
Or the internet... The internet is like a 5th dimention really! Its a whole other world where you can meet people from ALL OVER THE WORLD, and you can even contact people in space ships orbiting the earth...
I know how a lot of the time we (as a whole, not specifically MW) tend to look at how humans ruined the earth or how theres always so much violence & hate in the world... I think that the amazing advances & inventions that man has made - especially over the 20th century - are taken forgranted sometimes.
I dont know.. this is just a thought that popped into my head while watching all the beautiful people walk down the red carpet...
