Dear Lord and Lady, My eternal loving Mother and Father,
I pray to you tonight, in hopes i will see your light again. In these past months, i havent even searched for it. I've fallen into a slum, and gotten pulled into this consumer-driven life. Into the daily American rotation. I dont party. Im having troubles finding my friends. And Finding a mate. I want an intimate relationship with a guy. But someone I can really talk to and see and be with. I feel so lonely. and i fear most of it, is because i have strayed from you. I know you have been by my side. holding my hand along the way, but i feel like its been so dark, i couldnt even see your beauty and love. I miss you terribly. I feel like screaming and being wild. But i still have the daily restraints like school and work that keep me grounded. You made me a wild spirit, but lately its gotten so tame, even I begin to doubt myself. I love you with all of my heart. And I need your help, love, beauty, radience, and guidence.

I know what you mean about being lost and lonely. I feel it too. But not in the same way. I do have a partner. a very loving one. But me and most of my friends in the past 5 months have been slipping further away from each other. We all do it though. and we're supposed to move on.People grow and change. They will always be special to me but i don't know whether we will ever be as close again. The lives we lead nowadays afford us very little time for friends and spare time. Especially those who must work ultra hard to get by.It sucks.....

Being a wild spirit myself, I have often felt lost and confused, wondering where the Gods were when I needed them most. But one thing that I learned was that when wild spirits feel they have no choice but to do something, they will always resent what they have to do. The thing is, we do have choices. They may not be easy, comfortable choices, and people may shoot doom and gloom at us with every turn, but it's still our right to make said choice and the only one we have to answer to is ourselves.

I've been miserable about my jobs for many years now. Lately, I've been fed up over the whole corporate deal and having other people make money off of my hard work (I'm a consultant) while I continuously take abuse. Well, I'm going to be laid off soon, but instead of recanting the fact that I hate my job, I'm going to prepare to go into business on my own. Probably everyone I know thinks I'm an idiot, but I'm really not concerned with what they think. And there's a good chance that I'll fail and fall on my face. But oh well. I'm happier living for myself and screwing up than living perfectly for someone else. Hence the wild spirit in me ;)

Just saying that sometimes the Gods need to boot us in the rear before we can see them clearly again, and I've been there myself and yes, there is always a way out!
