After casting a spell, or performing a ritual, I find that I "know" when things have gone right. I get very relaxed and peacful. I guess you could call it "euphoric", a natural high, if you will afterwards. I guess its how i know I did something right ( LOL, again for lack of a better term) I find that my dragons are around after that and curl up with me like kittens.
I feel like my skin and being just glow... much like i picture a character out of a book would be described as having "glowing and shimmering skin".
Do you get this feeling of euphoria afterwards????

Hmm...interesting! No, I usually feel a sort of release of tension. Then I get really drained from the momentum of energy I created leaving and going into the spell. I usually have to meditate or go to sleep after a spell-weaving rit.
Now, if the ritual is simply to give thanks, I usually have a calm, centered feeling afterward. Like I've refocused but in a softer, gentler way. *shrug* I imagine we all experience different levels of energy after rits--yours is mighty cool!

yeah I guess we all would have different feelings afterwards.
Its neat to see what everyone has as an outlet, or even a receptor afterwards!

I always feel uplifted after a ritual in such a way that gravity feels like it gave up trying to hold me down and the only reason I still have my feet on the ground is by habit. I sometimes get this feeling when dancing, too, and I end up making huuuuge leaps off the ground and darting across the room like I'm half flying. When I was very little I vaguely recall almost flying around, bouncing off walls and leaping meters down the stairs and landing softly, it's a very wierd memory. But when there were adults in the vicinity, I always felt literally grounded. I vividly remember FLOATING down the stairs when I was VERY small, but when my parents were nearby I could barely get down without sitting and sliding.
Maybe if I shook off that 'habit' of keeping my feet on the ground I could learn to levitate :p.

wow!! that's an incredible memory!!!!!
they always say that children, uninhibited by the constraints of the adult world, can see, hear, and do things that adults "cant"
i totally agree!

Do you get this feeling of euphoria afterwards????
Yes, but in my case it's usually delayed JUST long enough that I think it didn't work and try again... at which point, the first wave of "it worked! YAY!" hits me, followed by a brief wave of "If the first one worked... oh crap..." followed by "it worked again! YAY--crap!"

Sure! The feeling much the same as after great sex. The highly energized while being completely wiped out at the same time feeling. You have indeed just been a conduit for a high surge of energy and it had to fill you in the process..feels good. Feels good to do the work and feels good to have the work complete..although you may be physically tired you can still be spiritually charged and euphoric. Makes perfect sense to me, although I am not sure I articulate it well.
