Nope, but don't hold it against me if I refuse to celebrate a holiday due to the fact that equality is not achieved by leaving something out. If there's a Women's Day there should be a Men's Day. ;)

Of course, we have holidays (at least in America) that actually do irritate me, so I won't worry about this one too much. *coughs*Thanksgiving*coughs* :lol:

Hey no, I respect that! Equality is the way to go, but the women's day thing started for I reason that I don't exaclty remember. I'm realy thinking hard here :bangyourh but I just can't remember. I think it had something to do with an especially violent event that happened that involved mostly women, and we have this day to remember.

I love this day! The Women's Center on campus is showing "Whale Rider" and everyone is bringing food! Yay!

As for Men's Day...as a Women's Studies major, I'm inclined to think that's everyday.
