*shudders* I think we deal with this stuff in the wafer fabrication department here at work....

Thinking twice about applying for a transfer to the wafer fab...

My father emailed the author of the site information about dihydrogenmonoxide being a by-product of the refrigeration process - includes the ice box and air conditioners. I do believe it was going to be posted on the site at some point in time.

Everyone should be aware of the dangers that come from two atoms of hydrogen (dihydrogen (H2)) combining with one atom of oxygen (monoxide (O)).

Yes, that's right, the site is talking about plain and simple water!

But is really is a wonderful site, and everything is true too. :)

Yeah, and I'm blonde too.

My father got a kick out of that site a couple of years ago when my eldest brother found it. Us bunch o' engineers/geeks really put one over on a lot of people by promoting the site. I love seeing people's faces when the light dawns. Too funny.

Thanks for bringing up happy memories!

On the other hand.............my husband got annoyed with a poster on another list, who was always ranting and raving about the FDA and toxins and etc, etc, etc. He sent the poster this site and the guy actually BOUGHT A T-SHIRT before someone else on the list blew the gaffe...........we all enjoyed the ensuing firestorm very much.

Regards,

Maggie
