Its me again.. always curious and wondering!!!! Anywho...I just found my runes.. they are beautiful.. I bought them years ago at a folk festival..anyways.. I felt compelled to search for them (as they had been in some dark closet) and start studing them again and see what they have to say. I did a few readings that really shed light on some topics in my life and it made me look at things that I never wanted to look at .......but my question.. (and I looked in the book section) are there books out there to help the begining rune user..I have a small little pamphlet that came with my runes.. but I want more.. they are Nordic Runes...

thanks for any help

A very good beginner book is (for the ladies) Cassandra Eason's 'Runes speak to the woman within' (or something similar)!
Her tarot book is also very good as an introduction.

And Lisa Peschels "A Practical Guide To The Runes" I found that books great when I first began!

thank you so much elfmage and macha for your book suggestions and a thanks to Rick for his suggestion. I swear ( not literally!) that when I started this thread those were not there.. either that.. or I am going insane.. which I could very well be doing!

runes by Johnathan Dee is a good one, this book simplifies the rune meanings and it is nicely illustrated as well.

blessed be
