Sorry, had to share this with you all.
Made some killer buff. wings and this is how:
2 Lbs Chicken Wings
1 Bottle Tapitia Hot Sauce
4 Jalapeno Peppers
4 Tbls Olive Oil
1 Small White onion
3 cloves fresh Garlic
3 Oz. favorite BBQ sauce
In a small plastic bag, smash peppers to a pulp using a meat mallet or, Kitchen roller. Clean and rinse chicken and place into large plastic bag. Add Hot sauce (I use the whole bottle but, suggest you use to taste) , half the Oil and peppers. Kneed to mix chicken, oil and sauce. Seal bag and refrigerate for about three hours.
Heat oven to 275 degrees.
Lay chicken out on lightly oiled baking pan. Layer Sliced onions over the top. Slice the garlic thin and sprinkle on top. Bake about two hours at 275, spread the BBQ sauce over the chicken 30 mins before done.
Remove from oven and let cool while heating a large skillet with 2 Tbls of Olive oil. Stir-fry for about 3 minutes stirring constantly. Drain over paper towels and serve with Blue Cheese Dressing.
Enjoy,
RnR

Simply put, Buffalo Wings are Chicken wings that are smothered in Hot Sause and BBQ'd or Baked. Dip them in Ranch dressing or, Blue Chees Dressing and eat away.
They are very good as an or-derv:D :p
Try the recipe. You just might like them. Would impress you friends, of that, I am sure.

They'er fantastic dipped in blue cheese dressing!
Although I don't like them too hot, not any more, I get heart burn when I eat the really hot ones.
I used to have them so hot that just smelling them made me choke and gasp for air, my eyes would water, my nose would run man those were the days!
Just this past weekend Buffalo had what they call "Wing Stock" all the local restaurants set up booths in downtown Buffalo and they sold their best chiken wings. I think it was something like six bucks for all the wings you could eat!
I missed it I was out of town :(
Maybe next year.

I'm originally from Buffalo but I've had a hard time finding wings hot enough to satisfy my taste buds. (I can literally drink hot sauce) I found the hottest wings to be at a bar in Lake Placid, NY. Wow I thought my head was on fire....
PS...Where do you get your wings in buffalo and are they REALLY HOT???

A local pizza joint makes some pretty good ones. We usually get the weekly pizza and wings special. But I can't really eat the hot ones any more, they give me heart burn bad :(
So its usually mild or medium for me, depends on where they come from.
I've found some places mediums are really mild and some places mild have quite the bite to them.

Rootie's!
Better than the Anchor Bar. Better than Duff's. Although if you want to experience true "suicide wings", Duff's is the place.
I live just 5 minutes away from Rootie's and the temptation is soooo strong. They serve up a HUGE basket of wings and another of fries. Worth every calorie and fat gram.

I frequented Rooties while attending ITT Tech school just across the street. Besta Pizza has some good wings too.
Although with the threat of being called a typical male I like Hooters wings too.

[laughs] My DH says the girls at Hooter's are better than any of the food. I don't *think* he's just being kind. :-)

**salivates over the Buffalo wing recipe**
I'll note the recipe to try it some time, but tonight, I think TGI Friday's frozen Buffalo wings will do well enough to satisfy the intense craving this thread just gave me.

My recipe is easier.
Open box. Spread wings out, stick 'em in the oven, cook 'em. Eat 'em.

There's a bar in my hometown (danbury, CT) called TK's, and they have the best wings I've ever tasted, and like...thirty differen't varieties. I used to go there at least once a month for ten cent wing night. I had their suicide wings once...and my whole mouth swelled up! They won all sorts of contests for them. Gods..I miss that place. Nobody makes decent wings around here :(
Their Sauce was SO good, that people would come in asking to buy the sauce, and the cooks would sell it in whatever container they could find on hand. Thus, they started bottling it. Here is a story about their wings (btw...they had 22 flavors, exactly).

Their own website doesn't work anymore, so I'm realllllly hoping they haven't gone out of buisness. Because I'd really be bumming out!
