My husband looks like he has gotten chicken pox!
We knew he was exposed and he got the vaccine but we don't know if he got it in time. For any of you who don't know it is worse in teenagers to adults than children. So please light a candle for him or pray or whatever you do. He is the only one that works and its on commision and we really didn't need this right now. I'll hopefully take my son in this morning to get the vaccine but its early still and I need to make sure that is what it is with the doctor.
Thank you all in advance. :)

And stay sane SAHM vibes too. I hope you don't have a baby and your son to take care of. Oops, did I say baby? I meant husband. Yeah, one and the same when they are sick! :D:D:D:D:D

Good Luck SAHM!! Watch your hubby!! They are dangerous in adults? Could it be shingles just which is a mild case?? My dad gets them due he had chicken pox as an adult.
MY candle is lit for you.
Stay sane!!

Thanks y'all! :D
He went to the doc and its definitely chicken pox. They gave him some medication so it won't last too long and for the itching.
Please keep him in your prayers please, and me too. :)

I'll ask my microbiology teacher about the Chicken Pox Virus (Herpes Zoster) and possible complications associated with vaccination. Unfortunately, I won't be able to ask him until Monday. For now, I'll send losts of healing energy your way!

How is your hubby doing?
I have been thinking of him and you all day and I hope he is hanging in there. I also hope you don't think I was calling him a baby. Just in my experience, *my* hubby tends to be a big one when he gets sick, worse than the kids!!! :(
Still sending no itching and get well vibes to you all!
:)

ooh I remember when my brother had chickenpox, when we were really little (I don't remember when I had them, but I know I had them). He got them awefully bad, he almost had to go to the hospital. But I know your husband will be ok!
sending lots of healing energy his/your way! Good luck!

Thanks chryssi1! He is just hanging in there. The itching has really gotten to him today and he finally gave up. On the bright side, I think he is looking better. His spots have multiplied greatly today, I was shocked at how he looked! But that was this morning and now the color has drained from them significantly and they are not swollen anymore. :D
Thank you too Puma Hime and those who haven't posted but are sending energy our way. Thank you very much!

Hi Sahm! Hope hubby is feeling better today.
Oatmeal pack...You cut an old nylon foot off around the ankle part & fill with oatmeal. Use the regular oatmeal & not the instant stuff. Use as a bath sponge in the bath & soak as long as you like.
