Ok I hate to bug you guys on this but I'm to the point where I am about to lose my mind. I have been reading my cards regarding a certain situation I have going on with a guy I'm seeing. I keep getting the same things but nothing is moving along here and I can't grasp why. If anyone has a sec can you throw a card and see what you get??? I'd appreciate it.

Sorry, I know it's pretty trivial but it's one of those annoyances..

Not bugging us at all! That's what we are here for!

The card I drew for you....funny enough....was the Lovers. :D

The first thing that popped into my head is that you are as different as day and night. Though you are together, you have these seperate worlds that you live in.....and that is keeping you from any movement in the relationship. Well.....that's what I got anyways.

Interesting. I pulled 3 from the Faerie Oracle deck.

Death, the Pook, and the Singer of Transfiguration.

Well something's gotta/gonna change, that's for sure :)

The Pook suggests its time for the resolution of seeming contradictions and paradoxes. Somethings cloaked, but the information is available to you when you think about it. And once you get it it's time to make changes based on the understanding you find. It may also be time to do a reality check on the "good and "bad" things as you think of them, what's bad in the good and good in the bad?

Maybe you are too different, or at least you *THINK* you are and you need to realize being different is good - after all you're two different people. Someone has to start thinking differently and I think that someone is you... Maybe the fact that "things aren't moving along" isn't a bad thing right now, and you should just enjoy what's happening as it is...

Justice
Maybe a new way of looking at this is in order. A canoe might be a fine conveyance across the river, but if one isn't careful how one enters, all you get is wet !
Try approaching the situation with your "other" in a more cautious and balanced manner. Step, then let him step. All things in rhythm, harmony and balance. Tit for tat.
Just a suggestion !

Dagda - Right on with the separate worlds!

Willowraven - You are right I am missing some of his reasons and the way to get them is right in front of my face (simply ask!). I do need to start thinking differently as well I was hoping most of this problem would be mine and not his.

AnnaHawk - I'm trying that tit for tat but I seem to be getting no tat. I have been trying to look at things differently (from his point of view) and that has been the only thing making me hold on. This is promising though because I do believe his issues are short term. So maybe if I just keep trying...

THANKS!!! for all the help, it is really appreciated!!!!

Maybe also you need to stop thinking that his "issues are short term" and decide that you can either handle them or you can't...

*shrug* Just a thought

After all, Justice also means being able to discriminate the reality of the situation and make a decision. Maybe the sword the Lady hold is to cut the cord. If things are out of balance, they must be brought back to equanimy.

...and I apologize.

Willow, could you describe who and what the Pook is and what the card loks like? The Pook is my nickname for my daughter, not Pookie, but "The Pook." :) I am wondering what I have been calling her these few years!

This reminds me of the Pooka, which can be mischievious or nasty little Irish fae folk..

Anyways, the Pook... here I'll scan him.. (not too OT I think anyway, after all he's part of my Oracle deck which is definitely involved with tarot.....) I swear I can't scan straight for the life of me..
