The Magician/Ace of Pentacles

I did a reading the other day looking for guidance on how to establish myself financially (I have been floundering from check to check -or no money at all- since I moved out on my own in 1999), and the answer indicated the Ace of Pentacles and the Magician. I normally do not get these cards in my readings.. I know the Magician has to do with alchemy and change, but does anyone have any thoughts on what a clear answer from these two cards would be?

I think of the Magician as the Creator card. You have all the tools within you to create your intent, be it talent, strong will, etc. The Magician has the power to will things into being.

I see the Ace of Pentacles as being the essence of the earthy Pentacles suit. Like a seed, it holds raw potential inside itself...a seed for prosperity and abundance.

I would take the appearance of these two cards together as a very most welcome sign that you have the power to turn your finances around.

Well, I tend to view the Magician with: Controling your enviroment, mastering your destiny, a study of the occult, strength of will, learning to get what you want through faith, study, strength of will, determination, and magic, to list a few key characteristics.

The Ace of Pentacles I view as: Birth of prosperity and abundance, new success coming your way, a new career, a new home, manifesting a sense of fresh respect and concern for your home, family, career and the mundane world around you.

Perhaps through determination, magic, faith, and strength of will you need to focus on what the Ace of Pentacles represents. Looking for a new job, checking up on old leads that may bring a fresh perspective or opportunities, looking to your family and those close to you for advice, and checking out your own assets.

Granted, this is only one way of interpreting the two, and since I did not perform the reading I'm afraid I can't offer more clarificatoin.

Exactly like 13thChylde said. To me, the Magician always says "you have all the tools you need right in front of you, now use them!" And the Ace holds all of the potential for financial fruition. A good sign, but heed that Magician, and use those tools, whatever they may be. :) (I think Raven provided a good clue to some possible 'tools', too.)

I agree...the magician means you will be shown the way...it will come to you...perhaps in the form of an idea, a vision, mail......and the Ace means a financial change for the better. Looks like a very good sign :)
