Before I truly began to study Witchcraft and magick I wanted a love spell placed upon someone so they would desire me.

As I began to study the craft more and more, I have absolutely no true desire to place a love spell on any one person to get them with me. Yes, I still fantasize, but never in a million years would I ever want to subvert their free will, and possibly destroy my life or theirs by novice magickal love spells!!!!!! Way too dangerous........

What I have decided to do is ask to remove fear and self-doubt and replace that with confidence and loving feelings for myself. It seems to me, when you love yourself and feel good about yourself all the rest follows. Much easier said than done.

I'm still working on it, and pray to get stronger and more confident everyday.......doesn't happen overnight.

Best of luck to you.....you know if you read a book on tantric sex that may help as well. That's some serious on the money, shit, it'll turn your man inside out!!!

That is so great Isis ~ im really happy that youve decided to work on yourself and not blame everything else around you (like I often do!) We make our worlds what they are, not anyone else, just us! So it is our responsibilty to love ourselves and not expect anything from others. I believe relationships shouldnt be 50/50 but 100% you and 0% them (often I forget this). Hey I read a book on tantra. It was sweeeet. Hmm....you can incourporate it into ritual and everything, if you like that sort of thing.
And uh,.......you're 18 and concenting and junk.

Way back when I was a newbie, I tried a love spell......whooosh, did it have it's concequences. Course...I was like 10, so I'm glad to say I have grown and changed, and see no reason to ever want to resort to that now.

I never did a love spell. Once I pretty much did the opposite to get rid of an ex. Well basically I was young, just getting into the Craft, and pretty stupid - I did it for my new boyfriend who was very jealous. Just simply cut up a picture of the ex while thinking I never wanted to talk to him again.

I've seen him once since then - ran into him in a restaurant. I looked up and he was 2 tables down staring at me and he started calling my name and even though I'd always wanted to apologize for what happened I just couldn't speak and had to leave.

Sometimes you think this magick stuff doesn't ever work and sometimes you think it works far too well even when you don't really want it to (also known as the "watch out what you wish for, you just might get it" principle)
