I was trying my hand at reading and did a simple PPF (Past, Present, Future). The card in the first position is the Ten of Cups- Reversed, the others were upright. Can someone help with the interpritation of this card? Thanks in advance :)

It would be a bit more helpful to understand the card in the context of the other cards, but for what it's worth...
This card means to me "fulfillment." Since the cups are related to emotion, and tens are often linked to the completion of a cycle, this especially means happiness and a meaningful life. Like I said I'd need to see the other cards to most accurately tell you the meaning of this one, in the past position, and reversed, but here are some options, off the top of my head.
My instincts say that the Ten of Cups probably refers to your family life: in the past there may have been some discord in the family which is affecting you now. Of course that may just be my subconscious choosing the easy answer: who hasn't had past grievances with their family. :) Or perhaps a falling out with friends...
My main deck doesn't use this imagery, but I know a lot of decks show a couple standing underneath a rainbow of cups. Maybe it refers to a good relationship wherein there were difficulties. Or in the past, you've overcome some sort of great impersonal obstacle (since this card often points to a good outcome when upright, maybe your outcome was not so great, but it's in the past now...)
Blah. Vague to the point of absurdity. Maybe you can post the other cards so when a real tarot expert comes by, they'll be able to give you a better answer? :)

Thank you Mudweed for your reply. :hugz:
the first card, as I said, is the Ten of Cups - reversed, the second is the Five of Cups - upright and the last is the Six of Pentacles - upright...

Hi - I read this spread as: something happened in the past regarding your family or people that you really cared about that made you very unhappy - that part of your life seems like you it has left you very unfilfilled at this time - but the 5 of cups tells you that it's time for you to pick up the pieces of your life and stop living in the past - it's time to look ahead to the future - and the opportunities and happiness that still await you - and the 6 of coins promises you victory on the homefront - it tells us that you will get everything that you deserve in the future

My keywords for the following:
Ten Cups, R : the happy family
Five Cups: loss and disappointment
Six Pentacles: charity and generosity
OK. The story this tells me is that in your past you suffered the loss of a happy life, a bump in the road to what you thought would be the fulfillment of many dreams. Today you're still mourning that loss, or at least being deeply affected by it. The way the five of cups usually shows only three spilled cups, though, always makes me want to remind people that there are still two cups full... those are the cups you really want to worry about. Don't let the hurts of the past continue to hurt what is good about the present. Don't spill those last cups. In the future things will get back to normal. The generosity implied by this card may also mean that because of your past hardships, you will have something to share with others: wisdom, good advice, or just a shoulder to cry on.
Whoops! Astara Moon finished hers while I was typing...:bigredblu

Within each deck there are variations. I've seen some that associate the Ten of Cups as a completely negative card, not that I believe in negative or positive cards (check the Tower card thread), but in my deck I associate it in a positive sense with joy, reward, contentment, fufillment, and potentially having a great deal to do with family.
Reversed (though I do not read reversed, but from a negative 'perception') I would see it as discord and bitterness amongst family or a group (as some groups can behave very much like a family in my opinion), depression, possible theft, and a genuine feeling of you did not get what you deserve, or perhaps you got exactly what you deserved, could be either one.
In my deck I certainly would not want to pull the Ten of Cups and sense a negative influence coming from it. I'd probably pass outr right there and die.
The five of cups (as I don't read with reversals) I often interpret in a way that most people would consider inherently negative. Things I get from it are negative events, dwelling on the past, dwelling on the negative and overlooking the positive (god, how often do we humans do that?!), and the possibility of a relationship crumbling. Depressing could occur, so you must remain resilient against it. Coupled with the Ten of Cups, it looks like a rough ride.
The Six of Pentacles I interpet (and keep in mind, these are very general interpretations I use when I'm not in a reading and have no other information to provide me with clues) getting what you are due, bad or good, being repayed for hard work, a long journey coming to a close, and the need to perhaps help others.
With those three cards, it seems like there may have been unhappiness, and a great deal of it, very likely amongst a family or group, and now everyone (or just you) are dwelling too much on the negative side of things causing further problems and anxiety. Whoever is in question, if they don't snap out of it they may lose out on a chance to learn a valuable lesson (getting what is due) or have a karmic backlash. Then again, helping a complete stranger on the street might help to revive a fresh sense of optimism in them.
It's the best I can do without doing the actual reading, but you get the idea.
