My agent sent word at the end of Friday that I'm getting another 2 book contract on my Chintz 'n China Series! YIPPEE! That means, with the India Ink Series, five books to write in two years, if I don't pile on anything more. My editor also approved the synopsis for the first book in the I-I Series. I've been busting my butt to get this set, and apparently, the work has paid off. So I'm ready to roll (I absolutely hate just goofing around for more than a day or two. I'm a total workaholic, okay? I like to play, but if I don't write, I get a little bit loopy...and not in a good way).

I'm going to be a happy, but busy camper. Well, not camper. I no longer camp. I love being at the beach/water and out in the woods, but not sleeping on the ground anymore.

Anyway...now to get Sam's job situation straightened out (his contract ends in a week), and we'll be good to go.

Just rambling. Don't mind me. Not enough sleep last night and no caffeine yet this morning! :caffeine: :caffeine: :caffeine:

That is such excellent news and I am so happy for you! Boy, do you deserve it. Now to find a steady supplier of coffee for those late-night sessions, so that it's this: :javaswim: and not this... :needcoffe , LOL!

Hope things work out for Sam. And let the words flow! :)

Actually, yes...I forced myself about a week ago to start getting up at (strangle, gasp, choke) 6:30 AM and to go to bed by 11:30 PM. My usual schedule was get up at around 8 AM and go to bed around 2-2:30 PM.

It's amazing how much more I get done in the early morning even though I'm not fond of it. Tomorrow, I call my editor and get the schedule of due dates/deadlines for these two books and make sure they're integrated evenly with the other two so that I'm not overlapping too terribly bad. I'm usually in my office from 7:30-5:30 now, with about a half hour break for lunch.

LOLOL...they'd better or I'm going to be sweating for time! LOL...it will probably even out to writing a book every 4.5 months or so. Good thing I'm prolific.
