Well... Im gonna have a small ritual since it's spring-winter (it's like a fifth season we have up here in the north, it's worm but the snow is still here) and as long as it's snow left I get easy depressed and tired so I dont honestly have enegry for something big.

I'll not be having a ritual as I'll be recovering from shoulder surgery, but I'll be do a Spring meditation and reflect on the aspects of my personality that I'd like to bring into balance this coming year and the work it will entail in doing so (kind of a "spiritual housecleaning) :-)

Warm Blessings!

Ostara, when the Sun enters Aries, will be at 1:49am EST on the 20th. :)

There's still snow on the ground here too... :( Hopefully it will warm up at least a little for the weekend... I need to break out of my winter hibernation! :)

Out here its chilly, but sunny with clear beautiful blue skies :)
Spring is definitly a~comin'!

My friends are having a big Ostara ritual, but they are doing it on Sunday, March 21st..
This little piggy has school - So she cant go to the big fun Ostara group ritual... So she's going to do a small little ritual... probably not even a ritual - Just a meditation & prayer for spring, welcoming the Maiden... and I'll have my usual holiday candle ritual, burning all night..

On Sunday I'll be going to a group ritual with lots of drumming and a big bonfire.

I'll do my small ritual with my kids on Saturday....but since money's tight right now I'll probably do the dyeing of the eggs later. I've got a lot of seeds to bless :)

i havent found a group of people to celebrate with, so im going to have a personal day of celebration and reflection. i plan on grounding myself outside(weather permitting) and just finding peace in nature. i used to go to a celebration every year with a large group of people but i moved and it would be a five hour drive for me.....so, im on my own. its sad when you are the only one with a drum...sniff.......oh well

I know what you mean... :hugz:
It'll be just me and some quality time with the deities, but I need it. I totally missed Imbolc with all the work craziness lately... :)

We're probably heading out to Circle Sanctuary, a pagan-run nature preserve here in Wisconsin that holds public events and rituals. Never beent here yet, so I'm looking forward to participating in a ritual in a large group; I'm sure the energy is VERY different than it is for our family rituals.

This week we'll probably blow and decorate some eggs. Some we'll hang on a little Ostara tree (a branch we'll decorate) and others we'll fill with confetti for a little "after the ritual" fun. I'm getting a little more ambitious than my current state of laziness allows...but I'm sure gonna try!

Will do a simple ritual on my own on Friday night into Saturday morning and then join my "family" for a big celebration on Sunday.

Whether or not we are able to have our bonfire will depend on how much snow melts between now and Sunday and how soggy the ground is. Dancing barefoot, in the mud, is not something I want to do when it's only 45 - 50 degrees outside! :damncold:

I guess now it depends on the weather. I had originally planned on climbing a hill to watch the local Morris Men troop dance the sun up at dawn, but it snowed last night, and is scheduled to snow again tomorrow and yet again on Friday. And the trail up the hill can be treacherous in dry weather! :foh: So that might be out. *pouts*
Though I see that they will be doing a similar dance at a local college for Beltaine... :woot:

I think I'm going to do some meditation, light a candle or something, I can't do a lot as I never get any time to myself.

Yea I'm planning on doing something later tonight...not much though, just meditation, candle lighting and maybe a small ritual. Theres still snow here as well so theres no spring flowers or anything to decorate my altar with...unless I decided to buy them from a greenhouse but I think I'd rather pick them. :)
