Does anyone have that tarot deck? Im wondering because I have had mine in like... a few months and I havent really learned it that well but there are a few that I have learned and I was wondering if someone could help me with it since TOTS is kinda hard to read. I have manage to read "The Fool", a little bit of "The World" and "The Hermit"

Thanks
Em

Sorry, not familiar with that deck. Some of the decks are a bit hard to read, especially if the symbology just doesn't "click" for you. Be patient and give yourself time. Sometimes you just have to go a bit slower than you'd like. Have you tried drawing one card at a time and medititating on the images there? That has been helpful for me when I have a "block" with a particular card. If you can, try lighting 2 candles (I like purple, but white is fine too) and some incense (I like sandalwood myself), blank out your mind, draw a card, and just sit and stare at it until you start to feel like you understand it. It might be pretty subtle, just sort of a quiet "Oh! I see now."..or it might be something a startling as the proverbial light bulb popping on. Nothing much might happen the first few times you try this, but then one day, it will just sort of "be there" for you.

It's gonna take forever *pictures myself comming online again when Im 50 and searches up the thread and says I've got it* :p

Well... I can try that.... It seems that TOTS is a pretty uncommon deck.... compaired to like the Robin Wood tarots and that

I'm in the process of learning the tarot in general. I'm beginning to make progress with my Londa deck, and in the process of learning more symbology by making my own (I'm now finding out that this is a rather bold endeavor  ) If you check out aeclectic.net they have a great section on the basic meanings.. If you already know those, how about meditating on that basic meaning with the card in question in your hand, and try to get some of the 'energy' of it? For instance, my 10 of cups is a rather abstract image, so I did a meditation on it with its involvement with relationships. It seemed to have a very homey, friendly feeling.. like a big hug from a grandpa. This helped me remember that it relates to family connections and security. I suppose if you did one meditation about one card a night, it shouldn't be long before you start to 'click' with your deck. :)

I'll try it... But then I REALLY need to do it late at night because otherwise the TV outside my room will bother me ;)

Thanks both of you... I'll try it
