Hi all!

I have a quandry! I have been offered a position with a new company and I'm very tempted to take it. At the same time I like the job I'm currently in, but I've also been offered a transfer within the same company I currently work for. What to do???? :hairraise Well, you do a tarot reading, of course! LOL So, I pulled out my Legend:Arthurian deck (very similar to Rider Waite) and proceeded to so just that and here's what I got....

1.....3.....5
..................7
2.....4.....6

1. Stay at current job? 3 of Pentacles reversed
2. Leave current job? 2 of Swords reversed

3. Take transfer with same company? 4 of Wands reversed
4. Don't take transfer? 10 of Wands

5. Take new job with different company? The Sun
6. Don't take new job? Emperor

7. Overall advice? Chariot reversed

Any thoughts would be helpful. I think I know the decision I'm going to make but new perspectives are always welcome, especially when the reading is for one's self. I often find that I'm too close to the situation to really see things clearly and others will see things I've missed or see the same things but in a different light. I will be giving my decision to the prospective employer with the new company tomorrow morning! Sheesh, time to smoke some mugwort and get some psychic dreams, I guess:smoke: !

Thanks in advance for your help!
Lisa :)

Here's my take on your cards:
1. You don’t feel you get to put much personal input into your current job.

2. Making a decision may be more important than which decision you make.

Sounds like you should leave the current job.

3. You probably wouldn’t find the new job (old company) any more fulfilling.

4. Tens represent the completion of a cycle, and a new beginning.

Sounds like you should leave the current job.

5. You will feel like you’re walking in the sunshine if you accept the new job.

6. The old job has a feeling of stability, you know what is expected of you.

Sounds like you would be happier and more challenged with the new job, but making the change is scary.

7. The danger here is that whatever choice you make you will end up kicking yourself.

Think the decision over carefully, make the best decision you can, and don’t look back.

I hope that is helpful.
hugs, Luna

Arrghhh. I don't know what the problem is with the font sizes. I've tried to edit it twice. I give up and just hope you can read it okay.

Ditto that on leaving the company. I am never that good at reading cards that someone else laid, but here goes.
I got the impression that you should concentrate on your stuck place at this moment, well obviously, but try to focus on your hesitation/dilemma at the moment, the solution will follow then. What is holding you back? Make a list of the pros and cons of staying with the current company and make one for the leaving the company and work elsewhere.
You know, when reading "Chariot Reversed" (as opposed to seeing the card), that immediately gave me the image of an upside down cart that the horses are trying to pull... Not going anywhere obviously. So get your chariot right side up again and you'll go like lightning!

UPATE:

Well, I approached my current boss this a.m. with the fact that I had another offer. He said that's good and that I should do what is best for me. I went up to HR and asked if it was possible to get more money at the transfer position and they said no, so basically that was me resigning. If I had been smart I would have taken the advice of the Chariot Reversed and kept my mouth shut! LOL Because my boss said something about firing me so I could collect unemployment, but since I went to HR they know so now we can't do that! Ah well, hindsight is 20/20, I suppose.

So, I will start my new job on April 1st. Funny, I hope the guy was serious about the offer! ;)
