I used to get these little mini, almost-clear rubber bands. I bought them at a K-mart or something. Of course, rubber bands are always a pain to get OUT of hair, so braid at your own risk. :D

The dollar shop should have tiny rubber bands but if the braids are really small that may be too big. Go to the nearest dentist that does braces and ask to buy a bag of small rubberbands for braces they work really well.

When I used to put little braids in my hair, I would sew the ends. They would stay in for a long time that way. Just a little needle and thread!

I use the little black latex ones but I've seen them in clear too. They're a one time use thing and are fairly gentle to your hair.
I've seen wax used too but not on the bangs. I don't think I would try that and I don't know what kind of wax.

I think a fringe might be what you call 'bangs. It's the hair that covers you forehead down to your eyebrows!! hahahahahah
Sometimes i think it might be very useful to have a language class here, could save a lot of confusion!!
For example, if a Brit went out in the street with just his pants on, he'd be arrested! hehe
(Our pants are worn under the trousers!)

Ok you are asking the person who can't sew a button... but this is what i did...Threaded the needle, braided my hair. When I got to the bottom, I just pushed the needle through the ends back and forth and after all of the hair was "in" the threads, I tied off the end. It would stay in for quite a while. This was back when people had skinny braids from behind the ear all the way down the side.
This makes no sense does it?
 :D  :D:rolleyes: :D
