My main problem in reading is dealing with Court Cards. They always throw me off. So, particular attention on this card and its interpretation would be greatly appreciated (or advice on those pesky royalty...)

My main problem in reading is dealing with Court Cards. They always throw me off. So, particular attention on this card and its interpretation would be greatly appreciated (or advice on those pesky royalty...)
Card 1: This card represents your love of yourself, self-love and self-image, representing astrengths and weaknesses, or issues to get through.

King of Pentacles ~ You're good at manifesting ideas: sensible; you like to meet challenges head-on; no-nonsense type, basically succesful economically. Very purposeful and systematic, which I can see b/c you work in a lab. In science, you get to be creative but you have to follow the recipe. Probably not into lavish displays of emotion, but kind, generous, sensuous and fulfiling.

Card 2: This card represents your love for others, your family, friends, lovers. Can represent a specific person and how you react to him or her, or how you see others, or a relationship.

4 of Pentacles ~ Even when in a secure relationship, you don't feel secure. There is a need to protect what's yours due to a fear of loss. You may have very rigid ideas of safety which make you cling to what's known and familiar, but this closes you off to new opportunities, ideas and people.
Holding onto your "wealth" and protecting yourself and belongings might be called for, and this card could be telling you to be a bit selfish.

Card 3: This card represents another factor or person, something not accounted for, because these situations are never simple! Can be a love triangle, or a difficult choice.

This card often appears when one party *takes* something from the other party, be it a cheating lover, or malicious coworkers. In regards to a relationship, it could denote serious problems, failure to communicate, and maybe the relationship is already over.

Card 4: This card represents strange Fate, or larger currents and directions, situations out of your control. Also represents the love the Universe holds for you, and your trust (or lack of faith) in that.

Ten of Cups ~ No matter what the question...wehn you draw this card know that things are looking up: love, family matters, finances, work, health - all improve under this card's influence. You are content, you suffer from high self-esteem, you reap the rewards of your past efforts.






Cards 1, 2 and 4 are forms of love you will always have and that are not dependent on others: your love for yourself, your love for others, and the love the Universe has for you.

I wasn't very happy with the pat 10 of Cups meaning up there....so I've been thinking and reading about the Cups 10.

This card can also represent emotional maturity. When you (have) reached this state, you are able to be yourself, rely on your intuition and experience life to the fullest. When you encounter problems, your positive outlook enables you to deal with them and move on.

Commit to something bigger than you are....make sure your dreams are big enough for you to grow into.
