Empty? Like something's missing?
Like you know you're alive. But in a way you feel dead. Like you can feel the pulse of life within you but it doesn't seem real?
Like the moment isn't real. Like you suddenly don't exist in the environment you're in. An outsider looking in.
Not an out of body experience. But more like, your body's just up and disappeared, and the only thing left is whatever is allowing you to see what's in front of you, and hear what's going on around you.
What IS that? Because I feel it right now.

It seems that a lot of us are empty until we find the one thing to fill the void. You are still searching...you may not even know what you are searching for...but I will say this...
When you find it. You will know it.

That has happened to me...for me it was depression. Let's hope that's not what's happening for you.

Ditto to that.
Do you have any other symptons, sleeplessness, appetite changes, being tearful, lethargic, anything else out of the ordinary?
Try talking about it to loved ones, or a doctor, or us here, you might find an answer.

Well, I haven't felt it afterward once I talked to a friend about my relationships with my girlfriend.
I just got out a lot of stuff that bugged me right out in the open and confided it to her. Course it probably does no good if my girlfriend doesn't know.
She's out of town at her grandmother's place so I really didn't get a chance to tell her. I asked her to call me Friday morning before she left because there WAS some issues I wanted to discuss with her.
And for some reason it just drove me up the wall in frustration that she didn't and decided to "let me sleep". I guess in a way a part of me felt like what I wanted to talk to her about didn't matter.

I'm so glad that you decided to talk to someone about it!! When things aren't going well in one area of your life, they can really overflow into others. You did the right thing by talking to someone about how you were feeling - getting it out of your head and into the air is so therapudic, IMHO. :) Even though you didn't have the opportunity to talk about things to your girlfriend, you at least had a good friend to call on.
I'm glad you are feeling better!!! :D :D

True....and you should still try and talk to your g/f. Hopefully it only strengthens your relationship. Let her know how you feel....it can't be a healthy relationship till you do.
Hope you're feeling better,
Be Well,
