A warm lavender bath and valerian root!

Is he physically tired? Not to delve, but does he get enough exercise? I know that when I don't have the time to get enough activity into my day, I don't sleep well at night. But anyhow...

A bath infused with lavender is very calming and relaxing. If he doesn't like taking baths, give him a nice warm shower, then rub his back and chest with warm oil.

I take valerian root on rare occassions when I can't sleep.

Also, try to not let him do anything after the shower or bath. Make sure he does this just before bed. No TV or reading, or sticking a stamp on that envelope!

That's my two cents!

Tangerine oil and petitgrain oil. 2 drops of each on a diffuser. It wipes my boyfriend and I out in 5 minutes flat. It works great!

Originally, I posted this in the Tao of Tea thread. I made this up for a anti-stress tea & found that I'm usually asleep within 1/2 hour of drinking a cup. Let me know if it works for your boyfriend too.

Relaxation tea
2 tsp chamomile
1 tsp elder flowers
1 tsp hops
1 tsp valarian roots*
3 tsp peppermint
Mix together & use 1 tsp per cup of boiling water. Steep 15 mins & strain. Add honey if you like.
*Don't drink more than 1 cup per day & not to be used regularly more than 3 weeks. This tea usually puts me to sleep.

I found this in "the Witches Magical Handbook"

In one cup of boiling water, dissolve 1/4 teaspoon powdered thyme. And add 1 tablespoon of raw honey. Charge the tisane while its hot. Drink as hot as possible at bedtime,
