In Candle Magick, I related a story of how when casting a spell to enhance the spice in my relationship, I did it while our dog was in the room. An unexpected result was that she went around humping everyone's leg for about a week afterwards, then just as suddenly stopped. :o There must be a lot of stories out there about spells that caused you to ponder and yes, laugh at yourself. Why not share it with others? :D

Hi all!
Well,this isn't really about a spell,just a funny thing that happened during a ritual.
Last Beltaine,I was gazing into my cauldron,thinking of life and rebirth,The Goddess,etc.I was really into it.Suddenly my cat(Cleopatra Jones,a thick haired Manx)comes running through the open window.She drops a freshly killed bird right into the cauldron!Freaked me out!It was like,"Hey,rebirth this!"

At the end of the semester, my Art History professor promised us extra credit if we'd visit a museum, pick a painting and write an essay about it. Well, it didn't make sense to me that he'd spend all that time -after school was out- reading a couple of hundred essays. I decided to find out if he actually read them.
I chose a nondescript winter scene, got out my Arthurian Tarot Deck and did a reading on the painting. (I knew he'd contact me if he read the essay because he enjoyed a good joke.)
It worked beautifully! Try it sometime! Anyway, it was a wonderful essay, too bad he didn't read it. By the way, I got the extra credit.
