I am exceptional at the Tarot. It was how I found Paganism, actually, so I hold it in high regard. I hav helped people alot before under a differnt alias on a differnet website, and would like to do so again. So, got a problem? Let me know, and I'll do a reading.

Note: you can always go down the "Victim List" and read for them! They are our gracious volunteers for readings. :D ....and I'm sure each and everyone on that list would love even a "general" reading! :D

I for one would like a general reading. I just can't seem to narrow down my choice of topic! .....too many things are going on! :D

4 of swords. This represent a period of rest. Maybe Yuletide break, when something will happen that brings great joy, love, and power.
7 of Pents. This represents a journey, most likely physical. Are you going to some place to give gifts, or give aid? It doesn't have to be far away. This could represent community service hours.
Strength. This is cool... This card means physical power, tameness, and good judgement. You will hit pay dirt building something.
4 of pents. This represents negativity, but its clarity mean that it will be blasted away.
All in all, a good year.

Past - 5 of cups - Small loss, blown out of proportion. This could represent the loss of a loved one, who was not really that good for you or your future.
Present - 2 of Cups - Soul mates! A person stands out to you, who is the one your destined to be with. Go for it!
Future - 4 of Wand - This represents your honeymoon. Be careful, someone might try to steal from you.
All in all. good for you.

King of Swords - This could represent the character your husband wishes to write about, providing a solution to your finances. The odds are even for it.

Some personal thoughts (I hope you don't take offence that I'm interpreting it too).... The 2 is right on, fiance and I have been discussing when to set a date for the handfasting - he's the "hard on the outside, soft on the inside" type to a T.
I see 2 pents, usually means money matters and prosperity in general also highlighted - true again, I'm thinking of whether to take extra courses next year and what job I can get now and when to get it. I see 2 4's, which could mean the # is significant - ie. in 4 weeks I'll be finishing up school, something could happen in 4 months, etc. Funny you say swords means rest, I usually think of it meaning strength or conflict. Rest is coming up in a month for sure, when I'm done school I'm taking some time out to relax. Doesn't overtly answer my question (which I didn't outward ask anyway lol).... but very interesting. I could do with a bit of help with a decision i've got to make very soon.

I've been accepted for a course of study that will mean a lot of hard work for 6 years. Not sure if i can cope with that and working full-time as well. I'm really in 2 minds at the moment.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Well, if you are of 2 minds, I think that I will use a signifier. The High Preistess, for hard work and focus, and The empress for, a long task, and devoted atention. 3 card Spread, The problem, The Crossing, and The result.
Problem: King Of Pents: A nice man, or someone wealthy has offered to take you off your selected path. They have the best intentions at heart, but this lead 2 ways, which are opposites. The person is well grounded, and focused.
The Crossing(The point in which you will decide):Queen of Swords: Someone will see opertunity, and go for it. You must make the right choice for a good outcome. Follow your heart, not your head.
The Result: If Better Choice: 2 of Wands: This suggests a journey, maybe a vacation, to somewhere distant. This maight be a move, and also mean that your task will be almost finished. It just needs a second coat, then will shine with glory.
If Worse Choive: 8 of Cups: This suggest also a journey, but a dangerous one. If get what you came for, you will shine, but if not, then you will be more, well you know, less shiny.

Hmm......I can somewhat see into this. I know someone that I feel is my soulmate. I'm with someone I feel is not. I don't know how it will all turn out. :crazy:

I do know a nice man, my best male friend, who is also wealthy, grounded and focused, has the very best of intentions and who would love to take me away from my selected path. But it didn't work out when we were married 25 years ago, and from my point of view is even less likely to work now! I think he's coming to terms with the fact that we won't get back together again, but it's taken a long time!

'The journey which might be a move.' I'm planning on moving to the south-west in about 5-6 years, a transfer to our office in Cornwall, which WILL mean that my 7-year task is almost finished

In answer- I'm 16, single(always have been --symptom of chronic shyness.), and the biggest virgin you've ever met. An educated virgin maybe, but nonetheless, the baby's definitely not going to be mine. :) It could be a friend, in which case I would worry, but I think if that happens they'll tell me. The only relaton to marriage I've seen recently is that my neighbors are getting married today. A baby is coming, hmmm? I'll be on the lookout. Hey, maybe it's puppies!!!!
Did you interperet the cards based on the idea that I was married (or at least very busy)? Maybe that could account for the strangeness- most of that didn't make sense to me right now. Maybe I'm just looking at it wrong. I dunno...thank you anyway!!!
