My daughter's father Guilts her all the time. She is all the time having to grin and bear it ( she's 11 ) and has told me that she can't wait to be 13 so she can choose when she wants to go over to see him adn lisson to his "madness" ( her words not mine ) (but I know what she means)

Yeah, he's been doing it all my life... When I was thirteen, I was lucky enough to do something that ticked him off enough that he disowned me for almost a year... And then again when I was 15-17 he disowned me... Those were great times... Now that I"m an adult however, he won't disown me. DAMNIT! He called again tonight (Drunk) and tried doing it to me again, but I hung up on him after about two minutes of it. Don't get me wrong, he's my father, and I do love him... I just don't like him very much. I'm sick of bailing him out of jail, having to lend him money, and having him get me in the middle of his fights with his girlfriend. I'm also sick of the asinine guilt trips every time I speak to him. I mean sweet gods, just shut up. I don't care! I did at one point, but now, I really just don't care. When you start acting like an adult, we'll talk, until then, just leave me the hell alone! I don't need a 43 year old teenager for a father! I'm sick of being the responsible adult here! I'm 22 damn it!
