For about two weeks, all five planets visible to the naked eye are lining up with the moon. You need to look to the western horizon shortly after sunset to get the best view. I saw it tonight and it was marvelous! I could see the whole circle of the moon, even though the light was just a "fingernail" moon. Venus is brilliant.

Yes I've noticed! Venus is really bright lately! :) I'll have to get out my glasses though to see the rest... I'm terribly nearsighted!

I just read about this news today. I'm looking forward to seeing it. Gotta see it now or else wait until April 2036.
Does anyone know how this will affect astrology?

Well for one thing the Moon moves every day, so it won't be in the same part of the sky that long. The Moon is in late Aries/early Taurus about now, Mercury's in lates Aries, going retrograde after it gets to Taurus next month, Venus is around the 20th degree of Taurus, Mars is in early Gemini, so these ones seem to line up. But then Jupiter is in Virgo and Saturn is in Cancer. I couldn't open the link in the first post so I'm not sure if they're including Jupiter and/or Saturn or not... I'm nearsighted, so my "naked eye" doesn't see too far!
Basically they're just going "in order" (with the exception of the last two) which isn't relly a major aspect like a conjunction or anything, but it is beautiful to see. :) About the only aspects would be a Moon/Mars sextile that won't last too long and a very loose Mars/Jupiter square... Venus and Jupiter are trine though.

very cool Kadynas, but what does it all mean? at least to the layman (or woman in my case?)

It doesn't really /mean/ anything... It's not a big "aspect" in and of itself. The few aspects made between these planets aren't exact... Now if it were a conjunction of all 5 planets that would be something! :D

Thanks Kadynas for explaining it. :)
Agghh, I can't see anything at the moment since it's so cloudy outside. Hopefully, I can see the planets in a few days.

I saw this mentioned on the news, but when I viewed the western sky all I could positively make out was Venus. I'll keep looking though.

Sorry about the link, I've been a bad geek.
