A local news channel did a story on psychic lines just the other day. There was a woman on who worked "for Miss Cleo" who said no one ever gets to actually talk to her, just to everyday people who do not need to be psychic, just read off a sheet of hot points that people want to hear. Never would I trust any of those psychic phone lines in a million years.

As in any profession, I think it depends on the person you get. Some people are great at selling cars, some aren't good saleman (people) at all....that would include me! :D Some people are just better at what they do than others. You also have to remember, they are doing the phone line thing probably to make ends meet....or at least try to get them in the same area code. ;) It's a job. Plain and simple.

I for one, wouldn't and haven't called a psychic or tarot line ...the price is just too much for me.

I have a friend who used to work the psychic hotline to make ends meet. Except she really does have some psychic powers, being openly Wiccan... Then again everyone does really, just a matter of tapping into them I think.

My fiance's ex wracked up hundreds and hundreds of dollars in psychic phone bills on several occasions (that he had to pay for). Kind of funny, because I could've told her she needed help and their relationship was over at the time for free :)

Good point Dagda...you're right. But on the other hand you do have to have a talent for interpretting the cards and "reading into them" which I would classify as psychic ability to read them correctly and not to mention for that kind of price!
