I think I’ve over medicated myself…

Ok, so I wake up with allergies. oh joy.
So I take a Benadryl That doesn’t work so I search the medicine cabinet and find a lost sample of Zyrtec –which are not doing much for me lately since I’ve been taking them for so long, but I figure with the Benadryl that’s not doing much they’ll get together and do something. Then I take aspirin for the migraine that’s developing thanks to these beautiful allergies. Oh, and eye droops for the red itchy watery eyes.
That was over 2 hours ago and my head’s all fuzzy.

I may be stoned.

I love spring, why doesn’t it love me back?

I'm drinking milk. Don't think I do this all the time. I woke up this morning nuts because my alergies were so terrible I didn't even know all I'd taken until I layed down and throught it all through.

sorry moondust, i feel for you. my brother has really bad allergies, making half the year a living hell for him, so i sort of know what it's like. he told me recently he's taking some different pills that don't make him so tired. i'll ask him the name, if you want.
hope ya feel better soon. do you know what pollens your allergic to? at the mo, it's hazel and birch that's getting on his nerves.

Zyrtec was working well for me but I think I’ve been taking it for too long and I’ve probably developed an immunity for it. I’m going to ride this stuff out today and tomorrow see how that over the counter Claritin goes. What I should really do is go get tested and get something directly from the doctor.

Is the stuff your brother takes over the counter stuff? If it is I may take a look at it.


The worst part is that I’m a spring baby. I love spring. I wait all year for it. I love seeing the flowers in bloom, bright green grass, and clear blue skies.

I CAN'T BREATHE EITHER!!!

My allergies are always freaking out...especially today.

I didn't get home until 3:30am, then I woke up at 7am because I couldn't breathe!

I took Tylenol Severe Congestion...ummmmmm...nope, didn't work. I'm still blowing my nose like crazy.

I took a Claritin....ummmm...nope, that didn't work either. I might as well just give up...I'm doomed to be the sneezing queen.

Ack! I feel your pain!

I figure I have until June before my allergies kick in. :rolleyes: I'm always a mess for the majority of the summer. Nothing seems to work anymore for me either....

I know the feeling. I hope you start feeling better soon. And please don't mix the meds anymore (thats my job ;) ) Alot of time when you take the same types of meds one can counter the other because of different ingredients and nither one will do any good. :hugz: I do hope you find something that works soon though.
