How about gardening ideas?
I'll Start.... A Living Green Man Project:
I am thinking of taking a mask (plastic) covering it with bark and moss, than stuffing it with moss and wirring chicken wire on the back than planting stuff in the mouth, and top of the head. I think I should hang it up (say on a tree).
Any how there's my idea.

That is a really kick *ss idea I think it's great. What kind of plants were you thinking?

I was thinking small leafed Ivy, or maybe that droopy red berried asperigus fern (but that might be better in a mask wired to one of the wire hanging baskets)
I also thought of other viny plants like the herb life ever lasting, or nastriums.
Got any ideas?
I wonder if I could cut some plastic pots in half, wire up the back put diffrent masks on each and hang them on my fence so that flat side is flush to the fence...I could do plants for the 4 winds than, or what ever.

If it works and you can post some pics I for one would love to see how it comes out.

Well I got to get some supplies, moss and such, I think I will try putting one together.
I tried straw as a moss sub once didn't work well. (another project)
I figure I will need
plastic pot
hacksaw
wire cutters
chicken wire
moss
plastic mask
glue gun & sticks
soil
a few baby plants
some bark
wire for hanging/attaching
Hammer & nail (to punch holes in the plastic pot so the chicken wire can be attached)
When I get it done I will take a picture...

Heres some ideas I've seen done with the ying yang garden theme.
I've seen black river rock and white river rock layed out in ying yang in between plants as a point of intreset in the garden (you could also line the bottom of a bird bath with this idea too)
I've also seen black and white flowering plants planted to create this effect as well.

I saw the coolest simplest idea for making the stand for a sundial.
take those round steping stones and stack them to the height you want! Alot easier than setting a post for those of us who always manage it get it set lopsided!
