Merry Meet Everyone,
As some of you know, I'm new to MW...and I'm loving every minute of it! About a few months ago I purchased my own deck of Tarot Cards, and have been enjoying them so much. Point is, tonight I was in the middle of a new spread, and I found myself in a bit of a pickle. What happens when a card is crossing another card horizontally? I need to know if it was key, or reverse key. Because normally, when the card is upright it's considered key. When it is upside down, it is reverse key. (Just for anyone who didn't know what I was talking about :)) Anyhoo, since its horizontal, how can I tell if it's key or reverse key? Any help would be greatfully appreciated!!! :>
Blessings,

I'm not sure if I'm grasping your question, but I think when the top of the card is facing left, it's key. When right, it's reverse. So that if you turned it to the right, it would be in its upright position.

Is that what you were looking for? :)

I think it depends on the spread. In the Celtic Cross spread, with the first two cards that form the cross, the horizontal (sideways) one is ALWAYS interpreted in the upright position. ;) I would suggest that YOU decide, and then ALWAYS interpret it according to that decision. :D
