I have what seems to be the "Zerner Farber deck"? Well, anyhow, I don't really do tarot...I'd be interested in learning to eventually....and I picked this deck up a while back with the hopes that I'd learn from the book...which I now know is not a great idea.
ANyhow....I'm waaaay OT.
So, for someone who is starting out, would you consider this a easy or hard deck? And, also....does anyone have any insight on working with this deck in particular?
Thanks guys,
Be Patient, I'm not a tarot-ish gal.

PS Palmistry is my bag....but not tarot, I feel like such a newbie. lol

I don't think the deck is the easy or hard part, but if and how it speaks to you makes it easy or hard. If the pictures and meanings are meaningful to you it will be a joy to use. If they don't end up "speaking" to you you might try giving them away and finding a deck that does.

I had the Arthurian Tarot deck until I read MZB's books and the deck no longer spoke to me (because MZB's books break every myth you thought you knew about Arthurian times) so I gave them away...

That's an interesting way to look at it. Thank you....I'll let you know if I make any discoveries that way!

I have the Enchanted Tarot, which is basically the Zerner-Farber deck with a border. It was the first deck I bought. I found it fairly easy to learn with, but the cards are rather large and hard to handle. I don't use them anymore. I prefer the Robin Wood deck.
