which majors visit you most often?

This morning I pulled my daily card, and got, for the second time in 4 days, the High Priestess.
Which made me think, hey...I get visited by the HP, the Star and Death at least once a week.

I never get the Chariot....or Judgement.

Which of the majors are your frequent cards?

Well, I don't know about visiting me, but I like to visit The Hermit on occassion. When I first learned the Tarot, my teacher taught me the meditation where you enter each of the cards. I felt a special closeness to The Hermit, and I visit her and walk along the beach with her when I need guidance. The night air is cool and dark, and her lantern is swinging and reflecting on the wet sand. Have you ever visited with one of your cards? :)

I do not know exactly with which card I have more affinity. I play in a month barely. But I feel as itself my pack of cards had life and spoke with me. Many times I feel he calling myself to play without neither know for certain motive of the game.

Hey 13th, it's weird that you should post this: my dad emailed me this past week asking me what I thought about his drawing the same card 4 times in the same week— the High Priestess.

I looked back through my own readings, and it looks like I actually pull the Magician the most out of the Majors, but most of my cards seem to be minors... interesting.

I haven't been working with the tarot for very long, I'm kind of just starting out. But the last week I had the Ace of Cups show up three times. Once in a spread done for me, once doing one for myself, and another time it flew out while I was shuffling the cards. Asfar as the major arcana, lately I've been seeing a lot of the Lovers lately.

What's really funny about that is that the Ace of Cups is one of my favorite cards even just by imagry - looking at it reminds me of a waterfall.

When I first started I would get the tower alot, but now I get the high priestess or High Priest alot.

I'll get Strength, the Hermit, the High Priestess and the Hierophant pretty regularly. Occasionally, I'll go through a period when the Tower and Death are pretty consistent "visitors"; those are usually pretty "rough" periods--lots of changes and upheavals.

mmmkay, here's another question...

do you get certain majors from certain decks on a recurring basis? or do the same majors pop out no matter which deck you use?

I get Seer cards a lot when I'm using the online World Spirit tarot deck, but I get the Knave/Scribe cards a lot when I use my Egyptian tarot deck.

Most often I get The Hanged Man, The Emperor, The Magician, and Death. These have come up the most for me since I started reading which was years ago.

This is pretty much any deck.

High Priestess and Strength have also come up numerous times

Since I have posted my question about the Tower last month and received some insights from all you wonderful people the card went into hiding somewhere.The Hermit and Empress,along with the four of wands and three of hearts are showing up with some regularity.

High Priestess, Star, Magician most often, with Chariot, Moon, Sun, Wheel of Fortune and the World as close seconds. Oddly enough, these cards are often the only Major Arcana I get. The Fool does make an appearance now and then. . . :lol:

I get the High Priestess and The Star all the time. I've visited a few of the cards--my favourite to visit is The Star. It gives me a sense of peace for some reason.
