Yeah, for those who remember me, I'm back. . . Long story - argh.

Anyhow, I just got a Crowley deck, and I'm adjusting to it. Anyone with a lot of experience with it want to offer me some unsolicited advice or recommend reading material. Right now I have The Tarot Workbook - which I like, but isn't enough to make me really feel like I know what I'm doing.

I usually work with the Aquarian, Robin Wood, and Celtic decks, plus a Matthew's Arthurian and the Faeries' Oracle by Froud. This is a new world for me.

I have a good grounding in art, symbolism, and a bit of hermetic tradition, but as with all new things, a little extra grounding is always good.

Oh, and I don't have a Thoth....yet....

but ever since last night I have had to literally fight the urge to go get one. Weird. Totally out of the blue and not a deck I've ever wanted.

(big sigh) it will be added to the wishlist.

First, I am not experienced at all. In fact I am very new to tarot reading.

The Thoth Deck is loaded with symbolism. It is quite overwhelming for a newb like me, but I love it!

The book of thoth explains the symbolism behind the cards. And I THINK that it is not meant to be used with reversals.
