View Full Version : I can't believe I agreed to this..!

My son's high school orchestra instructor called and asked me to be a chaperone on their trip to Six Flags, Dallas. My son had said a week ago something about there not being enough parental units signed up and they might have to cancel. So when the teacher called, I said yes. To make this trip extra special for my son, though, his little sister (13) will have to come as Dad is out of town on a business trip.

What was I thinking? I have managed to stay clear of trips like this for over 10 years, and now I cave! Oh, well, it's for the kids, right?

So, at the end of April, please direct soothing thoughts at me so that I don't strangle the giggly girls on the bus.

(Do I have everything I need: silken cord, gloves, ski mask, alibi..... :hehehehe: )

Arrive Friday, do some shopping and sight seeing I think, Apr. 23, orch contest Sat morn, Six Flags that afternoon, and home around midnight Sat.

It would be cool to meet you!
